Experience the rustic charm of a real yurt in nature. This is a glamping retreat best suited for outdoorsy types — solo travelers, couples, adults with small kids- still with comfortable beds, private detached bathroom, sitting area, and mini fridge with coffee maker. Set in the woods, this Yurt offers plenty of chances for stargazing and unplugging- more glamping than luxury, but still plenty of comfort. Shared amenities include: outdoor kitchen, grill, and fire pit!
Other Things to Note:
-The Yurt is a fabric-walled structure — not a cabin — and has limited insulation. It does include a portable AC unit and fans, but it may still be hot in summer or cold in winter.
-You may encounter bugs, wildlife, and all the natural quirks that come with camping in the Texas Hill Country.
-The bathroom is detached (about 50 yards away) but private to Yurt guests and secured with an electronic lock.
-Shared amenities across the nine-unit property include an outdoor kitchen with a propane grill and full-size fridge, a bar area, expansive deck, and a firepit (BYO firewood; use subject to burn bans).
The Space:
The Yurt is an open-layout, southwestern-themed space with a king-sized bed, two twin beds, two couches, and a dining table for four. It also includes a small refrigerator, microwave, and drip coffee maker. While not a luxury setup, the space offers a unique, laid-back atmosphere for those looking to unwind in nature. Outside, enjoy your own private seating area, plus access to shared spaces around the property.
Ideal for: Guests who enjoy the outdoors, don’t need frills, and want a Hill Country camping experience with a roof over their heads.
