North Shore Timber Home ~ Minuuttia kaupunkiin ~ 5 hehtaaria yksityisyyttä!

Vain 3 km: n päässä Duluthin kaupungista, 3/4 km: n päässä Superior -järveltä, lähellä monia jokia ja näkymäalueita Pohjoisrannan varrella. Kysy omistajalta sesongin ulkopuolista alennusta alennetuista vuokrahinnoista tammikuusta huhtikuun loppuun.

Rentoudu ja nauti lähellä Pohjoisrantaa ja sen nähtävyyksiä ja vain muutaman minuutin päässä Duluthin kaupungista! Arvostat maalaismaisia luonnonpuutavaraa, kiveä / laattoja ja aiton hirsimiehen sydäntä. Olohuoneessa on tanskalainen puulämmitteinen vuolukivitakka. Muodollisessa ruokasalissa on 2 pöytää, jotka mahtuvat 12 hengelle, lämmitettyllä laattalattialla. Pääkerroksessa on myös makuuhuone ja käsityönä tehty kivilaatoitettu kylpyhuone.

Kaikissa 3 tasossa on kylpyhuone ja makuuhuone (t). Makuuhuoneessa on queen-vuode ja vierashuoneessa varustettu sviitti, jossa on myös queen-size-vuode (pääsee w / ranskalaisilla ovilla makuuhuoneesta). Alemmalla tasolla on 3 makuuhuonetta (2 kuningattarta ja kuningas). Ulkopinnassa on suuri katettu kansi, jossa grilli ja pöydät ruokailua varten. Näkymä on puiden ympäröimässä yksityisomistuksessa.

Kiinteistöllä on heikko kaltevuus ja lapset nauttivat kelkkailua talvella. Saatat nähdä hirviä kiinteistössä tai todisteita heistä rypistymässä pihalla ollessasi hiihtämässä tai nähtävyyksissä.

Kiinteistö ei sijaitse Superior -järvellä, mutta on alle kilometrin päässä McQuade Safe Harbor / Boat -laukaisusta Superior -järvellä.

As advertised, owners were pleasant and easy to deal with. House was well equipped (don’t have to run out and buy toilet paper/ paper towels / etc) and there isn’t a huge list of rules and house keeping like there is in some places. Only complaint is that the only way to access the two showers is through a bedroom but we made it work fine.

Peaceful get away

Great place to stay that is close to Duluth and other attractions but feels private and relaxing. Great house and property. Comfortable beds. Great entertaining space on the wrap around balcony. Kids had fun with the fussball table and ping pong table. Very responsive hosts.

Amazing cabin in the woods

All 13 of my extended family stayed here at the end of July and it was absolutely perfect for our family! We had kids ranging from age 1-15 and there was something for all of them! The house had everything we need for the little ones and the teenagers loved the ping pong table. The large porch was everyone's favorite place to hang out. And Duluth was so close when we wanted to get out for a day activity. Highly recommend for large family gatherings!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Loren was an extremely responsive and accomodating host. He quickly answered our pre-arrival questions and was on top of any questions or requests during our stay. The house was well appointed and spacious. The kitchen had the supplies and utensils needed to cook meals for our group of 10. We loved hanging out on the beautiful, large porch and watching the stars and wildlife. Location was convenient to everything we wanted to do. We would absolutely stay here again.

The moment we walked in we heard our 5 grandchildren squealing in delight. They all went to the loft room to claim their nighttime spot! (My oldest mentioned the next morning that she could see the stars through the window and she felt so blessed).Throughout our stay we heard their joy playing ping pong, cornhole and cards. The deck was our choice for meals, music, playing 5 crowns and Uno and so much more. With the 12 of us just enjoying family and the outdoors and lovely wild flowers. (We really had no bug issues at all). S’mores by the fire, family photos and all the love we could share with each other.We had tears as our family gathering came to an end. We created so many memories, it was amazing.And on a side note we got to break in a new Blackstone grill, which made the guys happy to use it and the gals happy to not be in charge of the meals.Our hosts were fabulous, on top of everything and quick to answer any questions!If we could give more than 5 stars we would!

True “up north” experience

A gem just outside Duluth

We had a lovely stay with three families. Wonderful space inside and out to enjoy family time. An absolutely beautiful and quiet location convenient to Duluth and the north shore. Such a unique and historic property. You can see and feel the passion and joy that went into moving, building and restoring it. A great experience.

Holiday Weekend Retreat

We truly enjoyed our stay at the North Shore Timber Lodge. Our only regret is that it wasn't longer! There were plenty of bedrooms for everyone, and we were able to cook a delicious Christmas dinner. We would love to come back and take advantage of the beautiful porch, which feels like an additional living area. We liked that we weren't in the middle of Duluth but could reach downtown in just 10 minutes. If you are looking for a unique property, this one will be sure to wow you!

Cozy haven in the woods

The entire stay was a dream and the cabin was so amazing and more beautiful than we expected. The cleanliness was top notch and we appreciated all of the extra linens available. When we arrived all the lights were turned on making it feel like we were arriving at home. The host was really communicative and made extra sure everything was perfect.

Fantastic home and stellar host!

This is such a beautiful property! The log home is so pretty and cozy. Very well appointed kitchen, and this is from cooks/foodies. We brought a lot of our own cookware/implements, but wouldn't have needed them at all! Impressive. The bathrooms where very nice (do you love deep clawfoot tubs?) this is the place for you! The outdoor space was amazing with tons of seating space and very nice griddle top grill. We stayed right before Xmas and would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor porch! Definitely would stay again. Highly recommend! Oh, and the host went out of his way to mail us something we left behind which was extremely appreciated!

Beautiful Escape!

Spent the weekend there with 8 friends and had a great stay! The property is clean and cozy. We loved how close we could still go downtown Duluth for the day and return back to comfort. Will be back!
