A weekend getaway with the Mrs.

Pool, Sauna, jacuzzi. Are pleasing to my ears and an amenity that is necessary why accommodating on the road. Having some nerve damage and pain helps me get through the day so that’s a plus and come in here made my trip so much more comfortable along with having access to breakfast on a daily at no additional cost restaurant located within the hotel and a ton of other things to do within walking distance. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable clean. There was an exception of our room where I could see the corner beam protruding out of the wall on a finished war. Otherwise, the room was in good condition. The hotel was in good condition and it was in a perfect location in Canal Park right off the water.

Great location, and sizable room. Soap and toilet paper were both running very low when we checked in, and we had to make multiple visits to the front desk to replenish. The room had a foldout couch, but no linens I’m the room - so that was another visit to the front desk. We still enjoyed our stay and I do t think any of these are deterrents - just be aware.

Parking can be tough late on a weekend night. Staff was beyond great. Late night dining options (after 1030 or so) limited to Old Chicago next door. Hoops Brewery put their front entrance is definately worth quenching your thirst at. Beds were comfy, not too soft but not a slab of wood either. Rooms were clean and well laid out. Had zero issues!

The unit was rooomy with a bedroom,bath,kitchen area and a living/dining table. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good but that was it. I asked for Sunday to be added on due my conference and they said "yes" but a man was pounding on the door Sunday night and said I was supposed to leave but I said Monday morning as I had agreed. One desk clerk said Tuesday which was way out- Monday was it. So it was unpleasant. to locatin was near the convention center but it was a bit of a walk. A few restrurants around but the front desk was no help.The place was OK a bit old but adequate and in a good location for the convention center. But there were places downtown with shuttles that might have been better. There was not much going on. It was adequate and an option to the convention center.Not going back to Duluth MN -it was a one time trip.
