3,000+ Sq Ft Family Friendly recently renovated modern mountain retreat.
Spectacular Manchester area home with stunning mountain views right off Main Street. Located at the end of a quiet dirt road, yet three minutes to the restaurants and outlet shops in downtown Manchester. Near Bromley and Stratton. The acclaimed fine dining Chanticleer restaurant is walking distance and rated one of the best in Vermont. World renowned fly fishing at the many rivers and also access to Emerald Lake. Dorset quarry swimming hole very close by. Some of the best golf courses Vermont has to offer all within a 5-10 minute drive.
Soaring ceilings in the great room, woodstove, and built-in seating alcove by the fire. A large dining room with a table for 10. A spacious kitchen with newer black appliances, and Elica Tesla induction vented cooktop. Also on the first floor is an attached 2-car garage with ski storage area, and a large mudroom with washer/dryer with EV charger. Hot tub on deck with amazing views.

Three large bedrooms and huge sleeping loft with two king pull out chairs provide sleeping accommodations for 8-14 people on first and second floors. The first floor offers a private master suite with a queen bed, walk-in closet, and master bathroom with jacuzzi soaking tub. Upstairs are two additional bedrooms. The first is the second master bedroom, with a king bed and sitting area. The remaining bedroom offers two queen beds. There are 2 1/2 baths - one full on the first floor, one full bath on the second, and a half bathroom off the kitchen. A flat screen Roku tv & DVD player are located in the loft with movies.
Brand new finished lower level room adds 600 square feet of additional living space! Ten foot ceiling, four built-in queen bunk beds sleep eight extra individuals in private compartments. Also, a twin bed. Huge 75" flat screen on the wall in the sitting area with XBox. 10'x8' quad glass door to allow for lots of natural light - it does not feel like a basement!

The home is very family friendly.

A newer 7-person hot tub has been recently installed on the brand new outdoor deck, steps from the front door. It has a waterfall, 50 jets, foot massagers, and underwater led lights. It is a high-end model with very efficient insulation, enabling us to keep it at a constant 100 degrees, even in the coldest winter weather. This means that you can come back from skiing or eating out, and hop right in! No waiting 2-3 hours for a typical hot tub to heat up to the right temperature.

Other amenities include: miles of trails out the front door for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. Large firepit for lazy summer evenings under the stars.

Amazing, modern ski house close to Stratton

We stayed over Presidents’ Day. The house was a perfect fit for our needs. Plenty of beds, modern kitchen, hot tub, and great common area / dining space for dinner in the evenings. 10/10. Would love to stay again.

Great Home

My friends and I stayed at this house for a long weekend to ski, and we absolutely loved it. The views, 9 separate beds, and hot tub made it a perfect winter vacation home. I highly recommend for larger groups looking for a great place to stay while enjoying the mountains of Vermont!

Perfect for Vermont Summer Festival!

We stayed in this beautiful house for 5 nights in July for the horse show. We were 6 min drive from the Vermont Summer Festival which was ideal for those early mornings. The house was beautifully done with a full kitchen, ample common space, a cozy loft area with skylight for getting work done during the day while the girls were riding. They loved the basement queen bunk beds! The wrap around deck and the views were so peaceful. Very comfy beds as well. The owner was super responsive to our inquiries. We want to stay again next summer!

Great Ski House

Our family and friends had a great time at the house over a holiday weekend. Great location for area ski resorts and close to Manchester. The kids loved the hot tub after a long day on the slopes. Would come back again!

Amazing views perfect location!!

Our family of 8 adults enjoyed our stay immensely. We ate all our meals at the house and I felt the kitchen was easy to use and cook for 8. The family room is great for games although we did not use the wood burning stove it is a nice addition. After a long day of skiing the jacuzzi is a wonderful relaxing experience. The bedrooms are comfortable and although we ended up not having any little kids on this trip the basement bedroom would be excellent for younger children. The basement living room bedroom is also the perfect place for a family movie night. Lots of hiking close by and we skied Stratton and took a trip up to Woodstock VT which is an easy trip to take in one day!!! The house has plenty of towels, it’s clean and we stay in Vt every year and would deffinetly stay again.

Perfect ski getaway

This house is as great as it looks! It is clean and well-kept and has the perfect mountain feel and decor. Lots of great spaces to hang out and nice bedrooms (our kids loved the massive bunkroom), and the outdoor hut tub is a huge plus. Brad was a fabulous host and was very quick to respond to any questions ahead of time and during our stay. We'd love to return!

Comfortable Home with Stunning Views

A group of 7 women friends were on this trip. We all had a comfortable place to sleep, we had space to prepare food and dine together inside and out and a cozy place to chat! The views were spectacular and the hot tub was enjoyed by all. We highly recommend this house and hope to visit again in the future.

Holiday Ski Trip

My group of family and friends had a great time at this Manchester property. The house was in a great quiet location with plenty of room for bigger groups. Also close to two ski mountains. The house is definitely a little older and could use some future updating but still worked out fine for our weekend getaway. Heather was very easy to communicate with about the check in and check our process. Would definitely stay here again!

Summer vacation to VT

We usually take a few day trip from CT to VT every summer with the kids. We love to hike and just like to be in the woods for a peaceful getaway. This place was perfect for that. We loved the house, it is large, has tons of sleeping spots and the kids were never bored. I would definitely recommend it and book it again. The views were also amazing and we got amazing pictures.

Amazing Stay

Heather was so awesome to work with it's a wonderful super spacious house with plenty of room for all of us. As well as plenty of private space to get away from the group and not feel like we were on top of eachother all week. Great big deck outside! Very special family home

Heather, the owner, was available and helpful at all times. The home is special. It is very comfortable and has space to be together as a family and room to find your own space. We had 2 families with total of 5 kids and all had a blast. I highly recommend this home.

Birthday weekend with friends

Just got back from an awesome weekend at this property! There were 13 adults and we had plenty of room with beds to spare. It’s so nice to find a rental that can really accommodate such a large group. It’s nice to have the option to rent the downstairs bunk area (additional charge) - everyone who slept down there said it was dark, cool, and quiet. Perfect for sleeping! The beds were comfy. Hot tub was awesome. Deck and great room were where we spent most of our time. We had our morning coffee with the view of the mountains. Such an awesome weekend! We will be back for sure!

Excellent place for outdoor activities

Very lovely place with a beautiful view. The place was very clean and Heather was very quick to answer our questions. This location is perfect to stay for a group of friends. There's also a lake where you can go swimming and some nice hiking trails within 10 mins drive. And a perfect hot tub and camp fire to close the day.

Loved the view and space house provides

This home worked well for our children and grandchildren with lots of games and toys, etc. It does need updating and some repairs (bathroom sink didn't drain, BBQ starter didn't work), as well as a deep cleaning, but views, location and space were wonderful. Also, be aware that the crib is in a walk-in closet which was not ideal.
