Lobby was gutted so no breakfast! No other amenities. Even though “breakfast included” noted on your listing. When asked hotel clerk if local restaurant coupons were available or if room could be discounted, both were denied. We were extremely disappointed even though our suite was very nice.

Staff, amenities and the main areas of the hotel were under construction. It felt like a health hazard. This is the only hotel that asked for a waiver signature despite putting guests at risk for damages. Didn’t get to use the pool and they lied about breakfast being provided. We found out on arrival that breakfast was discontinued until further notice.

Well… There is a lot of construction going on which I was not aware of breakfast was canceled. No vending machines you had to get ice at the front desk. I got a kitchen, there’s no oven, utensils, drawers or pots or pans. We brought food and weren’t able to cook any of it. Staff was nice, but kind of not helpful with everything going on.

Our stay at the Staybridge was a mixed bag the room was very nice and had everything you could want. The property was unfortunately under construction when we went which we were able to look past. the breakfast is very nice but unfortunately ran out of coffee most mornings of our stay. But the biggest reason for the bad review is they still have not refunded the hold on the credit card after three weeks It is the holidays and now I’m worried about how I’m paying for thanksgiving.I was told by the hotel it was refunded in their system 4 days ago still no refund

The thing we didn’t like about the property was that they were doing construction and we weren’t notified about it soon as you walk in the lobby was completely under construction. I had to walk around the building just to get on a elevator to get my room.

We purchased our room through Dxpedia but also had my bridal party staying here. Hotel is under major construction in our lobby. They were jackhammering tiles and making me walk over smashed tiles to walk in. They left power tools in the lobby area plugged in overnight. You had to enter on one side of the hotel to check in, go back out and around the other side of the hotel to use the elevator. No hot breakfast options, only cold. You had to walk back outside and around to get to it. Room was fine, but they absolutely needed to close for a few days to get the renovations done. It's not just painting.

Hotels.com should have mentioned this hotel was under construction which interfered in first floor breakfast room, lobby and cleanliness of elevator. Also, the designated area for dog walking was filled with planks of wood and other material for the work being done. This made dog walks difficult, as well as unsafe. I hope when the work is completed it will be a better environment. The suite we stayed in was very nice, it was just missing a full length mirror. Other than that, it had almost all the comforts of home.

Sorry, the level of construction going on at this property should warrant a temporary closure of this business. The signage around the building directing one where to enter (just paper with arrows, out in the elements) just barely gets the job done. It was literally impossible to hear the person that checked me in behind the saws and drills. I felt bad for her. I am glad to say the room was clean, but the stairway (which one almost certainly had to use or you’d have to walk around to the other side of the building to use the elevator) was filthy..

Everything was great except the bathroom floors were super sticky when we got to our room. As if they used dirty water to clean them. Otherwise from breakfast to the bed it was a great stay. Would stay again!

Fall wedding anniversary get-away in the Poconos!

1. There is limited on-site parking, though free 2. Hand sanitizer dispensers were empty in buffet area AND nearby main lobby. Difficult to want to eat and enjoy free breakfast (unsanitary stations everywhere) 3. Stayed for 3 nights and not once did housekeeping service room (others had signs posted sleeping - ours did not). Too bad for housekeeping as we are HUGE TIPPERS 4. Window is broken in hotel room #403. Very noisy evenings/ sleepless nights due to room facing main road. Asked for a new room, was told nothing was available.
