staff was polite and nice but the hotel itself is old and in need of a lot of updates. the carpet is stained and gives off a musty smell. the rooms are updated and charming, but the beds are hard as rock and uncomfortable. the bathroom smelled horribly, like old sewer. the pool/pool area is very pretty and kept well, but outside of the friendly staff and pool area (that we didn’t use), i would not recommend this hotel. i think it has a lot of potential but i would not be back.
