Tenaya at Yosemite offers 352 accommodations with a safe and free newspapers. Because Tenaya Lodge is a rural location guests should call the hotel if they need additional directions or information on how to get to the hotel. During winter months, chains may be necessary, even for four-wheel-drive vehicles.

Bears inhabit this area. Do not leave food or beverages (including water) in vehicles and heed all other warnings issued by the lodge.

Guests driving to the property should be aware of seasonal road closures. Hwy 120 (Tioga Pass) closes October through late June, restricting east-to-west travel across the park. Yosemite's eastern gate and Tuolumne Meadows are not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. Guests are advised to check local weather and road conditions/closures with the California Department of Transportation before travel.

We are not pet people. There were other patrons that had dogs there. But the place was kept so well that even my wife who is allergic to dogs was not having an issue.

Lovely stay, enjoyed having the restaurants to come back to after days spent in the park. The attendants outside in the evening were so attentive and ended up changing out our fire pit gas can every night like it was their favorite thing to do. Very friendly and engaging. Only thing that didn’t work out was housekeeping. We asked to have our room attended to every day and never got service. The housekeepers were hustling in the hall the entire day but wouldn’t get to our room until evening time, when we were ready to turn it. We ended up just trading in towels and calling it good. Perhaps housekeeping is understaffed?? They seemed relieved when we said we’d just take new towels and they could skip our room.

This is our second time staying here. We love how close it is to Yosemite, but we also love how warm, inviting and peaceful it was for us to spend time walking around the resort. Our only minor complaint is we wish our room on the 1st floor patio had blackout shades to block out the parking lot lights, but other than that we very much enjoyed our visit to Tenaya and would stay here again for our next trip! We especially loved the fire pit and making s'mores!

We enjoyed our cabin. In the off season, note that the restaurants consolidate and only open 1 location with a variety of options. Nice outdoor pool. Nice indoor hot tub. Friendly and helpful staff. Don’t expect pickleball courts. They are being constructed. Wasn’t very busy in September.
