Pleasant Surprise

I am pleased to say, the room was a pleasantl surprise. First appearance it seemed sketchy. They coukd definitely use a new paint job outside. Checking is was easy. The attendant was knowledgeable and kind. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to NY

Easily walkable to the train station, reasonably comfortable and convenient for the USB Arena. It's not fancy, just a very basic motor lodge, but we'd stay again if we were in the area.

I lived in Queens, most of my life and know the area to be quiet and respectable. Still, I was a little nervous about a motor lodge. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and efficient the hotel was. Ok it is not the Waldorf, but it felt comfortable. No surprise charges, and a nicely renovated room were greatly appreciated. It was near to my destination had free parking and was near to a variety of restaurants. I could have walked if I werent so hungry. Parking did fill up at night so I squeezed in so just be aware if you are out late on a weekend. Would stay again.

The Motel is close to the UBS arena which is why I chose it. It’s not bad at all just dated. Parking is not guaranteed if full but I had no problem. The beds are small and the pillows are tiny and flat. The hallway had a mild skunk like smell. To sum up, it’s ok for a night stay but very dated.
