Positives: Friendly/Helpful Staff, Comfortable Bed, & Breakfast was good! Negatives: Unfortunately the hot water in our room did not work at night when we went to take showers. It worked in the morning when we woke up but we had to take cold showers. Also, the room had a bad odor/smell and there were hairs on several of the towels, along with the bathroom & shower. The cleaning department needs a serious revamp in my opinion. Every room should be clean thoroughly, no matter what “star” hotel you are

The front desk staff was wonderful. They reached out to us when they notciced one of our party booked the reservation in the wrong month. Very accommodating. Finished our stay with a great breakfast which was well stocked with fresh fixings and staffed with a great gal keeping it looking great.

Nothing spectacular about this hotel but when traveling with a dog, expected. Room was clean but comforter was dirty under clean duvet. Breakfast was okay. Dog walking area was used by adjacent hotel and obviously not attended to. Receptacles overflowing and area extremely dirty.

Not sure why this place got an 8/10. Hallway floors were filthy and not vacuumed. There was a paper towel on the elevator floor when we checked in at 11pm and still there when we checked out the next morning. Hair on floor in the bathroom. Furniture was dusty and dated and corners of floors and fixtures were not cleaned properly. Bed linens were worn- and the mattress were very loud and shot. Could have been a really nice place ic more attention to detail was paid to on housekeeping’s part, as well as upgrades to mattresses/linens.

A car alarm went off all night right under the window. Complaints to the front desk did no good. Forced to give up and leave hotel early and miss breakfast. Totally unacceptable!!!!! I will spread the word to those traveling between VA and FL to avoid this place. A full refund should be issued immediately or a free night stay or something! Absolutely no excuse for this kind of treatment at a place where people stop to SLEEP after a long day on the road. I am furious that this happened and your manager hasn't properly trained the front desk personel to deal with a situation like this, again, in a place where people stop to SLEEP. I am sending this message to your main office as well.
