Cabin in the Country

Guests enjoy a Texas style queen size bed in an open living space, complete with a comfortable sitting area and a 32″ flat screen TV with satellite selections. The cabin also has a full kitchen and dining space. Country Cabin also offers guests the most sought-after amenities such as your very own 2 person hot tub in the back yard. The hot tub can be viewed from your spacious back patio complete with bar and rocking chairs. A barbecue grill is also provided for those who prefer to stay in the country and do a little grilling. Head to the Hill Country for a little peace and relaxation, make your cabin your home away form home!

Loved this place! Very cute, clean and new. The cabin was just far enough out in the country but close enough to visit the town & wineries. Peanut was the cutest welcome committee. We will definitely stay here next time we come to town!

The cabin was exceptionally clean! The bed was very comfortable, however there wasn't an extra blanket provided. There also was not paper towels, tissues, bottled water, or any of the niceties you would expect at 250 a night. The check-in process was not terribly difficult, however communication was poor. Did not realize there were four cabins on site, and didn't know which one to go to initially. Check-in process involved us going to the door that had the keys in it, checkout process was the same- leave the keys in the door. The highlight of the stay was the adorable little dog Peanut who greeted us outside the morning. We left and gave us tons of love and a happy farewell. I would recommend an updated listing, there was no washer and dryer provided as the listing stated, there are four cabins that are not represented in the photo, all of which share a single two-person hot tub in a central area. Overall, I would certainly stay again if some of my other favorite places were booked as they were this weekend.

It was awesome. We loved the goats. Had plans to use the hot tub but rain detoured us from that. Would have enjoyed an ice cube tray with a few ice cubes for a night cap but made a short trip to town and got a huge bag! Maybe some dish soap and rag to wash the dishes we used. It really was a lovely place. If we get in the area again, we will definitely rebook.

Although the cabin wasn't the one pictured, it was equally nice and looked new/ recently built with all new furniture and facilities. Very clean and cozy...wife and I sent a whole day locked up in it just went out to the hot tub and to grill some burgers for dinner. Hosts were very helpful and quick to respond when we needed anything or had a question.

Very clean cabin. It is not the cabin in the picture, though. We stayed in a cabin that was next to the one in the picture....much smaller than the one pictured. A bit surprised and a little annoyed that it was not accurate, but the cabin we did stay in was nice and clean, and they seemed fairly new. Close to town. Could use a wine opener in the cabin and the Wifi code posted somewhere. We messaged the owner for the code, but never heard from them. No biggie, really, we just used our hotspot, but if someone really needed to log on for a moment, they couldn't. They had a very sweet dog, Peanut. She is very friendly and not shy...we enjoyed her company as we really love animals! I would recommend it to a friend, but just warn them that the listing is not as advertised.

This was a fantastic cabin for my husband and I to get away for the weekend. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The only thing I would say was that the listing and photos led us to believe that it was a private hot tub for our cabin when I reality there are several cabins on the property that share it. That was not a huge deal as there were no other guests at the same time, Howe we if you are wanting more privacy this may not be the cabin for you. Otherwise it was wonderful!!

The cabin was incredibly clean. We didn’t stay in the cabin pictured however it looked like there were 3 newer built cabins on the property which is one that we stayed in. Communication was easy with the host. We did have to buy some toilet paper but that wasn’t an issue because we needed things from the store anyways. Little Peanut was the perfect welcoming party and super sweet. We were too busy there to use the hot tub but it was very accessible. My husband and I enjoyed our time there and I would definitely stay again.

Perfect for a weekend in wine country!

We only stayed one night but could easily stay for a long weekend. Closed to the wine trial and downtown Fredericksburg. The hot tub was amazing after a day of wine tasting. The bed was comfortable and the water in the shower was hot!

Perfect Anniversary

We came to Fredericksburg for our 1 year wedding anniversary and this location was perfect for us. Property is located just outside of town and right down the road from Das Peach Haus. The neighborhood was quiet and we got to see a bunch of wildlife while we were in the hot tub. Overall a great place and we will definitely be back.
