Food was good. Room was never cleaned during the one day requested it. But this was during the recent snow storm, so housekeeper may had difficulty getting to work. Staff was nice and helpful. Hotel used to be one of the nicer stays in Fredericksburg. I think it could use a mild refresh.

Do not stay in Room 221!!! We arrived to the property around 5 or 6 in the evening. We heard some loud noises. We were not sure what noises were. Got back from dinner and really did not hear noise again. Our phone rang at 5am for an advertisement for breakfast! We did not ask for a wake-up call! Then the loud noise began again. We figured it out Room 221 is above the lobby entrance. The slider to the lobby entrance shook our room incredibly loud! We did not tell the hotel and eventually went to breakfast.Do not stay in room 221!!!

Our checkin was quick and the person who helped us was genuinely friendly. The hotel was not ce and even had some live entertainment and relaxed with an excellent cocktail before going to dinner at a nearby restaurant, Alpine Chef which was also excellent :)

No complimentary bfst. Two treadmills and one broken. Not a good fitness center. One bench. Old equipment. Parking was a problem due to area i guess. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Noisy late night parties and people messing up the elevators. But really a potentially great place. Add bfst and a clean modern fitness center. Clean the carpets. Again - STAFF GREAT

The room was clean. However not sure how long is has been since an update. Ceiling cracks, wallpaper tears, We booked a king sized suite which was as expected. Unfortunately we didn’t sleep well. There was this awful vibration coming from the floor when I stood in our bedroom. We could feel it in our bed at night. We probably should have asked for a different room. We purposely booked a room with a balcony to watch the Christmas parade only to be told the hotel has no balconies. This needs to be removed from the site. Misleading. $$$. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The amenities were fine. A safe would be nice.. I would book again but not hesitate to change rooms if I ever felt that vibration again it was awful!

My room was really large. I had a corner room that over looked the historic street. It is all decorated for Christmas. It's like being in a Hallmark movie. Staff are very friendly. The food from the Bistro was delicious.
