It’s alright

As of 04/13/2025 the hotel is under going construction. It’s not major, they’re just changing out tiles on the outside. I didn’t ask how long they’d be but you can still book a reservation. This hotel is more of a motel. My MIL found a roach in the bathroom. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, room service came in while we were gone for the day and cleaned, we really appreciated that. There’s also no microwave in the room, only a mini fridge and safe.

The rooms are very dated and whatever they use as a TV service, is terrible, the TV will sporadically go to loud static for no reason which is awful. Also the outlets in the hotel were very loose. My last complaint would be that there is no microwave in the room. But the staff was very friendly

Freeport Inn & Marina

This was an Inn, staff was very good and nice. Older property but in good condition. Beds good be updated, only one trash can in, could have had one in the room as well. Turned on TV, just static gray screen, went to office and they got it fixed but would occasionally go to static then back to ok. Room phone didn’t work. Always felt the round table was going to tip over when touched.
