The property was great for our dog, but it's a very urban environment and we dealt with it. Room was roomy and super clean. Staff was Extremely Helpful with the very difficult parking situation. There's a city garage a short walk away you would have to use M-F but we got lucky and got a street spot in front of the door on a Sunday night. We were there for a concert and would go back here for the next good show in Gainesville.

The condition of the facility is not up to the standard I have found in other Hampton inns around the country. Our room was not very clean. No mention of the lack of parking was made till after I was charged. I know that it is in a city environment but….

Great Hotel

Great hotel. Super fast and friendly check in with Julie. Room was HUGE and beds were comfy. Anything we needed or asked for was taken care of right away. Great location close to everything. Only downfall was parking not attached to hotel and no valet.

Because of the age of the hotel, the interior feels outdated and run down. The A/C sounds like a jet engine preparing for takeoff: clunky and loud. The bed situation was especially concerning: a coverlet with no cover. It is terrifying to think how many guests before me got cozy with it… The front desk staff has no enthusiasm for their jobs, they do the bare minimum, but to their credit, they do it well. Minimal changes to this place would make a world of difference for guests.

There is live music playing so loud I can hear it in my room over the TV , the staff couldn’t be any slower or careless. WOW never again . No perks to being a gold honors member. They used to give you a cookie and a water . Now they point to where the elevator. No more valet . Horrible.
