This is a good hotel while traveling through Gainesville or visiting for a few nights on business or other purposes. Nice lobby and I liked that it has a kitchen with an extensive menu and good prices. Comfy bed and pillows, good shower. Pool outside. It would be wise, however, for the hotels in the area to request police patrol. Shortly after I checked in, I walked out to my car and a man was looking into it. He quickly hit his remote to lock his nearby van . . . and stepped away to a dark area on the side of the building. Very unsettling. I talked with the front desk team and appreciate that they were responsive, one immediately walked outside. However, I did worry about it on and off through the night. I was very relieved that my car was ok in the morning. I may not stay in this area again when passing through, though it seemed to be a very safe area close to shops, restaurants, etc.
