Tässä Galvestonissa sijaitsevassa koiraystävällisessä loma-asunnossa on upeat merinäkymät, pääsy yhteisöpalveluihin, kuten uima-altaat ja kuntokeskus, ja mukava sisustus. Siinä on kaikki mitä tarvitset upeaan oleskeluun!

Tämä huoneisto sijaitsee Pointe Westin alueella Galvestonin saaren länsipäätä kohti, noin 20 mailin päässä suuresta kaupungista. Täällä on helppo pääsy rannalle (lyhyen kävelymatkan yli dyynileikkauksen yli) ja pääsy Beach Clubille ja sen uima-altaisiin, porealtaaseen, kuntokeskukseen, kaasugrilleihin ja muihin. Rannalla, uima-altailla ja tämän huoneiston viihtyisällä olohuoneella on runsaasti paikkoja rentoutua!

Kolme makuuhuonetta ja kaksi kylpyhuonetta, tähän kotiin mahtuu jopa kahdeksan vierasta (kuusi mukavasti) ja kaksi koiraa, vaikkakin per yömaksu per koira ja vähimmäismaksu oleskelua kohti. Käpertyä olohuoneen sohvilla ja katsella televisiota, käyttää WiFi-palvelua lomakuvien lähettämiseen sosiaaliseen mediaan tai ottaa se helposti ja katsella ikkunoita maisemaan.

Täysikokoisessa keittiössä on kaikki ryhmäsi kokki tarvitsemiensa ruokkimaan maukkaita aterioita, mukaan lukien huippuluokan kodinkoneet ja kauniit graniittiset. Voit syödä ruokasalipöydässä tai suunnata kannen ulkopuolelle ja nauttia ateriasi hengittämällä raitista ilmaa ja ihaillen näkymää.

Birthday Getaway

My family and I stayed here to celebrate my daughters birthdays. We wanted to be within 30 minutes of Galveston and this was a little under that. We didn't use the Beach club pool but it looked really nice and clean.

Wonderful location and easy reservation

Overall it was very good but we found the floor very dirty, the ice maker and disposal were not functioning reliably and the dining table chairs and patio chairs were very worn. One of the dining table legs was very wobbly too. A little bit of attention to these would go a long way.

It’s fine, I guess

The location is beautiful, far out from the crowd. With that said, I wouldn’t book this condo again. Friends were staying here also, their condo was fantastic and well appointed. All the same issues as previous reviews, broken everything really. Needs a huge cleaning and updating.

Very clean

The unit was very nice. There were are few items that need to be fixed. There are a couple of electrical outlets that did not work, garbage disposer did not work. It would be nice if all the bedrooms had ceiling fans. Overall I would stay there again.

Not worth the money

Pointe West is great but do Not rent this property. Bugs everywhere and Vacasa did not respond to helping. All furniture is practically broken. Kitchen is not stocked with any usable supplies- coffee maker and microwave were broken. All of the 2 frying pans cause everything to stick. Couches smell like BO and there is nowhere to hang any towels or bathing suits in the bathrooms. We hung everything on the doors. Owners could care less about family comforts for a place that sleeps 8

Lacking some things that were needed. No laundry detergent, no basic cleaning supplies. Paper goods were poor quality. A/C filter needs changing and it seemed like the unit really struggled to keep the condo cool. Fantastic views were a plus.

The place was not clean dirty floors counters dinner table needed sweeping and mopping bathroom floors dirty all bed mattress terrible stains. Had to call housekeeping to come over and help with cleaning.

DISAPOINTING

DIRTY - DIRTY - vents were filthy, floors sticky on bare feet, utensils food still stuck to them, no ice maker in fridge, dryer did not work for longer than 5 mins, no batteries in remote. Very outdated and old grimy looking furniture. I have photos that have been sent to property manager waiting on reply

It was fine, but not great!

We have stayed in different condos at Point West at least 5 times, and we always enjoy being there. This condo was the exact same layout as others we’ve been in, but not as well maintained. It was clean enough, but not really clean. A few simple fixes like changing out rusty air vents, and touching up paint would go a really long way. It’s a nice place, but whoever the owners have hired to clean and maintain it are letting things slide. It also needs some basic kitchen supplies and a broom and dustpan. Overall the condo was fine, but knowing there are others in the same complex that are in better shape we probably wouldn’t come back to this one.

Mold Issues

When we arrived there was a very very strong mold odor which my husband found evidence they were aware of this issue because they had dehumidifiers, DampRid boxes/bag, and air freshener to mask the smell but he also found the actual MOLD. We called that night requesting a new room or a refund so we could book a new location. There was no notification, even with daily calls, until after we had left that they would only be refunding 125. We would have gladly left the night we came and rented a new unit but unfortunately, because of no notification we stayed in the unit, and due to having to stay, my family returned sick. I would not recommend this unit until the mold issue is solved.

3 night, 4 day stay, 6-8 person group

We booked this unit for a long weekend with friends. Absolutely perfect for what we were needing. We didn’t use the amenities although we may next time (will definitely book again). I had seen some reviews about the unit needed updates. We found no issues. We did move one cable box to the living room tv for more browsing options, super easy. Very clean unit! Tons of extra clean linens and towels. The beds were extremely comfortable. Pull out couch could maybe use an update but there was no serious complaints. We had guests sleeping on there too. I’d love to know what mattress toppers are used in the bedrooms because we all slept great. Kitchen had everything we needed. Patio is WONDERFUL. Such a big space and beautiful view. We loved that we could get onto the San Luis Pass beach within a few minute drive. That’s where we spent our time and it was so nice coming back to a large comfy space each evening. Overall, the whole group agreed we would book again! Big thanks to the hosts for such a perfect getaway not too far from home.

Thanksgiving 2019

Very nice Clean, quiet 3/3 condo, great view of pool & bay. We chose this property as it is dog friendly (extra daily fee is charged, dog- 2 max. Tile/ vinyl laminate flooring good with pets. Condo is walking distance to the beach, but a little bit of a hike with under the road access. Would be easy with a golf cart, but none available for our use. The property is not close to town, for those not familiar with the island/ it’s at very west end of island (30 minute drive into sea wall restaurants, grocery shopping) Elevator did not work entire stay, (previous reviews noted this, & its still not fixed) which was difficult coming in/ out hauling everything up 3 flights of stairs. Kitchen ok stocked , brought in a lot of my own items ( Keurig , serving items & serving bowls, ) We had some issues with appliances, (Refrigerator not cooling, over stove microwave not working, & oven door falling open) Check in/ out is easy , security staff texted during stay for after hours pool bracelets . Read reviews closely to see if this is the best fit for your stay.

Nice area, bad condo

Where do I start.. we couldn’t get in the condo. The email had a code with letters for a number pad without letters. We stood outside for 45 minutes in 102 degree heat. We stayed on hold trying to reach someone. The elevator didn’t work when we got there. The floors were filthy. Our feet were black. I had to complain and someone came to clean the main area. No hand towels or wash cloths. And one towel for each person. Pots and pans sucked. And hardly there- bring your own. Nothing to wash dishes with. Microwave was leaking water. Pool area was nice and security was tight. Make sure you buy armbands. The west end of Galveston lost water on our stay which wasn’t nice at all. The chairs were broken and worn out on the balconies. The AC was fantastic. Stayed nice and cold. The beds were comfortable. The pool is heated so that kinda sucked being that it was so hot.

This condo needs some TLC

This is the 6th year we have stayed at Pointe West but the first time in this unit. This condo needs some serious TLC. We had issues checking in as the first code that was given to us didn't work. I had to call to the management company to get the code for the lock box, After reading reviews about the dirty floors, I bought my own swifter wet wipes. It didn't make a difference. The bottom of our feet were black the entire time of our stay. Also upon arrival, the floors weren't swept and the blinds were very dusty. Not sure what the cleaning crew is responsible for but it is very minimal. We found broken potato chips and cheerios on the floor. Also, the air vents in the condo are rusty out by the salt air and need to be changed out. The kitchen supplies in the condo are very limited. I believe that we counted 4 dinner forks and no spices whatsoever. Positive things- the frig ice maker worked very well and the condo has a gorgeous view of the bay with fantastic sunsets. Hopefully, management will give this until that TLC that it needs.

Dirty condo with dingy furniture

We received a text saying we could check in an hour early. When we got up to the condo the door wouldn’t open so I called and we had to use the locked key. The key code never worked so we had to call back again for another code. This condo was not clean. It looked as if the floor had been vacuumed and bathrooms cleaned, but the floors had not been mopped. After walking barefoot a couple of hours are feet were completely black. The air filter was covered in dust and a lot of the dishes were clearly not cleaned. The furniture was very dingy and my daughter pulled a dirty sock out of one of the chairs, along with old cheerios. The patio furniture was old and falling apart. We struggled to get the dishwasher working. The kitchen only has a few glasses, tall ones, not small or anything for mixed drinks. For the price we paid and the location of this condo I am very disappointed! We’ve stayed at pointe west before and this was a big time down grade. I contacted about a cleaning fee refund but have not heard back. We won’t stay here again.
