Only 4 miles to Townsend where you will find grocery stores, restaurants, river access, churches, horseback riding and river tubing, along with motorcycle and street legal UTV rentals. There are always activities at the visitor center like hot air balloons, club meets, lumberjack competitions or music festivals. Natural beauty of this property is truly impressive. I would say it is probably on par with the Great Smoky Mountains just over the back hill from the property. The house is located about 10–15 minutes from the entrance to the national park, and you do not have to drive through the busy downtown area of Pigeon Forge.The house itself is cozy and clean, and the host is extremely responsive. It has three bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and a jumbo-sized kitchen. It was a wonderful experience cooking while watching wild turkeys walk across the front yard.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for reasonable pricing, plenty of space, peace and quiet, and closeness to nature. One reminder, though: be sure to bring your own shampoo, since the house does not provide it.

Home was as described and like pictures provided. We enjoyed our stay. The sheets on the twin bed, as well as the pillowcase, did not appear to have been washed prior to our arrival. That was our only issue, other than the bear visitor. Don’t put trash out until you leave!

Absolutely wonderful location, scenery, completely as advertised. Comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed the front porch with the swing, watching the squirrels, chipmunks, birds and our little lizard friend. It had everything we needed for a memorable girls weekend. Just male sure if your people use alot of ice to purchase a bag of ice to put in the freezer. We did fine with the ice trays so it was not an issue for us! Wifi service was great but cellular service is spotty in the entire area of Townsend. If youre looking for a quiet place to disconnect and enjoy nature and scenery, this is your place.
