The air conditioner was noisy TV remote control isn’t working because of battery issues. Maintenance guy didn’t show up to fixed our TV. Water park was awesome kids enjoy but they started charging extra money for water

Perfect for family fun!

Stayed at this hotel overnight with family for the sole purpose of having some fun in the water park and a little shopping. Although we’ve stayed in North Dakota dozens of times, this is the first at this hotel. It exceeded our expectations! Amazing water park and we were given complimentary breakfast vouchers and a happy hour drink voucher. Well worth the few extra dollars to stay at this hotel.

The room was nice. I liked that there was a separate area for the kids to sleep. I thought it was overpriced being the waterpark slides were not able to be used without purchasing a wristband for them. If you stay at the hotel, the whole waterpark should be available for use. We were able to use the pool and lazy river, but i feel like the slides should have been able to be used as well since we paid over $200 for the room already.

Clean and adequate

The visit exceeded our expectation. Being an old establishment, we were expecting smelly and not-so,good facility but alas, no stale odour at all. The facility was well kept. Clean!!! Kids enjoyed the water park. The breakfast was adequate but maybe there should be variety of options. Keep it up!

We ( my husband, 3 children and I) just enjoyed a weekend at Canad Inns Grand Forks. We had a fantastic getaway. The staff were friendly and helpful. They answered any and all questions i had with a smile on their faces. The room was ok. Not spectacular nor horrible. It was a place to sleep. My kids enjoyed the ps4 which we were able to sign out for free. The water park was so much fun! My kids played until they were exhausted. The big toilet bowl waterslide was incredibly fun! My only recommendation for the pool area would be to get a few more double floaters for the slide and lazy river. There were only 3 available which people would hog. Also, be aware that most of the water park is not included in the hotel price. Some of it cost extra. Not a big deal but having that included on the website to prepare in advance would have been nice. One of my kids ended up hitting their head in the water park. The lifeguards were thourough and professional. Providing an ice pack, filling out an incident report and checking for signs of a concussion. They were polite and friendly towards my 6 year old and myself. We had free breakfast buffet included at the Altos restaurant as a special deal that was running at the time we stayed. Food was hot and delicious. We rate our stay a 5/5. Would definitely recommend and plan to stay afain in the future.

The room was amazing i loved the view and the bed. The staff were really nice and friendly and did an amazing job. I will definitely go back to this beautiful hotel soon with my kid. We make a point to stay here every year and every year it gets better and better. One of the cleanest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The property is so well taken care of, staff is friendly and helpful. 10/10. Wish we came through more often. Kids had a blast at the water park! Rooms are quiet, and the beds are comfy!
