A really fun and historic place to stay. Not sure how the room was originally configured (maybe a two room suite) and it's not set up for any kind of extended stay. No chest of drawers and no real closet. We were there 3 nights for a wedding nearby and it was a challenge keeping everything somewhat organized. Great staff though.

The bed was absolutely NOT a Queen size as advertised It was a full sized bed. I would have mentioned this but it was NYE and i doubt i would have gotten a room with a queen. Thanks

This is such a wonderful hotel. We love staying here and enjoying the old world feel with the modern service. Debbie at the front desk was wonderful, and our room was warm and comfortable. Love the bar and restaurant, so beautiful! Fabulous service. I highly recommend staying here to truly enjoy the charm of Nevada City.

Beautiful restored old hotel. The restaurant service was wonderful as well as the front desk. My friends got a room comparable in price and theirs had a fridge and mine did not. So if that's important to you, make sure to ask.There was something that had spilled on the bathroom floor, I was in hurry so didn't really say anything to house keeping. All in all, a positive stay and I will definitely book again being sure to call and ask about specifics.
