Second room was fine first room smelled like an ashtray. Clerk at th front desk said I booked a smoking room upon check in I requested a non smoking room and he said he would take care of it. Even after having a conversation about my grandmother passing from lung cancer due to smoking and I couldn’t stand th smell. He still put me in a smoking room. When I went and asked he said it was too late and the system wouldn’t let him change it. When I told him that if he would have told me ahead of time I would have canceled the reservation and gone elsewhere he was quick to change the room to non smoking and kept giving me lip under his breath thinking I couldn’t hear him.

Confirmed staff was standing outside watching and we placed a do not disturb sign on the door due to me working at night and sleeping during the day. Staff threatened not to rent to me anymore due to the disturbed sign and cigarette butts and a McDonald's bag left on the other side of the counter. It felt like we were in a prison camp. Horrible experience
