When we first arrived and opened the door to the reception area, we were honestly amazed. The property felt warm and inviting, the jacuzzi and pool areas looked beautiful, and the overall atmosphere was charming. The spaces were lovely and the rooms felt cozy — our first impression was truly wonderful.
However, everything changed when we went to dinner. We were shocked by the condition of the kitchen. The first dish we received was burnt, unpleasant, and poorly prepared. We ended up eating it only because there was no other option. Then they brought us pasta — spaghetti with a meatball and capers — and it was so sour that it made us nauseous. We left dinner still hungry, hoping that breakfast would be better.
Unfortunately, breakfast was even more disappointing. The cups and dishes were so dirty that we immediately got up and said we could not eat there. It felt extremely unhygienic and unacceptable.
We also wanted to use the spa area, but were told that with children we were only allowed from 8 AM to 11 AM. After hiking in the mountains, all we wanted was a good night’s sleep, a nice breakfast, and then to enjoy the spa. Instead, we ended up having to leave the property entirely.
It is truly sad to see such a beautiful complex in such a stunning location have service that is this poorly managed. The potential is incredible, but the experience was extremely disappointing.
