Manager was fantastic. Took extra time with our dogs and gave us a few suggestions for dog friendly restaurants . Room was definitely dated. On the water side of the highway, beautiful view. Continental breakfast

We absolutely love staying here! We came here 10 years ago for the first time by chance, and it has become our yearly or by yearly visit! Jade is an amazing manager and is always cheerful and helpful!

Provided a large assortment of "free" breakfast items, coffee and teas each day. Rooms all appointed with frig, keurig coffee maker and microwave which was super convenient for storing and heating drinks or leftovers. Management was excellent. Always available and super helpful.

The amazing woman who manages the hotel is the single reason I would most certainly return. She went way beyond the the norm to assure our stay was everything we hoped it could be. The unit is a bit dated but super clean. The patio and decks are perfect for outdoor meals or quiet reading, grounds are immaculate, and service workers immediately responsive. Traffic noise is minimal and not a problem; however, Rt. 1 is constantly under construction and contractors tend to stay at the Surf Inn. Expect early morning but brief noise as they ready to depart for work. The Surf Inn is a bargain for those looking for a comfortable, affordable stay.

While this is a small property and rooms are not large it is a very nice property. Rooms are clean and comfortable and staff is very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay very much. They have also put back into place a nice grab and go breakfast with quite a few options.

I got there at 1am but the property had sent me a text with all the information I needed to get into my room since they closed their office. Everything was easy, the location was stunning and the lady working the desk in the morning was incredibly nice! I would recommend and stay here again!

Beautiful views!

Love staying at the Surf Inn. Close to everything in Gualala with a stunning view out the back! The manager was very helpful when I had to move my stay at the last minute and was able to accommodate the change.
