Oceanfront Maine Acadia -mökki

Tidal Ledge on kaunis nykyaikainen Atlantin merenrantakuvio, joka sulautuu täydellisesti Mainen maisemaan. Sen poikkeuksellinen sijainti tarjoaa täydellisen olennaisen Maine-kokemuksen.

Tärkeimmässä oleskelutilassa on lattiasta kattoon ulottuvat lasi-ikkunat, joista on 180 asteen näkymät merelle. Bar Harbor ja Acadian kansallispuisto ovat 20 minuutin ajomatkan päässä, ja välttämättömille ostoille Ellsworth on Hancockin läänin suurin kaupunki ja 10 minuutin ajomatkan päässä. The views of the water and tree colors were spectacular. Location was close to many good restaurants and not far from Bar Harbor and Acadia Park. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We look forward to planning our return .

This home was the highlight of our trip! The communication was A as we were arriving after dark and needed food recommendations. Helen's chowder and stews were a perfect item to bring back to the house. The location is absolutely beautiful and exactly how it was described. We loved sitting outside watching the boats come in to pull their lobster pots and relaxing in the evening around the fire. We also appreciated the welcome gifts. That was so thoughtful!

This cottage is absolutely delightful! The views are simply stunning, both from the deck and from inside. The outdoor seating areas are wonderful for reading, conversation and simply chilling! The beds were very comfortable with comfy linens. The host left us a lovely welcome bag and she was very thoughtful in her communication. We found some great restaurants, most especially Union River Lobster. We highly recommend this VRBO.

My husband and I had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at Tracey’s beautiful property. As advertised, the view was gorgeous and we enjoyed seeing the changes in the sky and water at all times of day. The property is a little off the beaten track, but the drive to major attractions like Acadia and Bar Harbor was manageable, and the tranquility after a busy day was appreciated. The property was clean and we had all of the basics that we needed. Tracey was a gracious and responsive host. We will be recommending the property to several other friends!

We stayed for 3 nights while visiting Bar Harbor/Acadia. The house was perfect for our family of 4 and the view was absolutely beautiful! We just wish we had reserved it for additional days just so we could relax and enjoy the view more. We saw beautiful sunsets, seals, birds, deer, and even had an eagle land on the "beach" rocks our last morning. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home - we will definitely be back!

Private and Peaceful Getaway

This property was by far one of the cleanest well stocked places we have ever stayed through VRBO! It was EXACTLY as pictured and described in all the photos. The setting is so beautiful and peaceful, and we really appreciated being away from the crowds in Bar Harbor and Acadia at the end of each day after hiking and sightseeing at both these places.

Beautiful cottage! The view! The view! The view!

Wow! So happy we chose this amazing cottage for our 25th anniversary trip to Maine. Excellent communication with the host before & during.. answering questions and giving us a lot of info and suggestions on what to do and where to go locally for food and excursions. The cottage is private & peaceful with an amazing view of the Tidal Falls. The wildlife is incredible! We saw harbor seals, bald eagles, great blue herons, osprey, cormorants & loons daily! There was even a whale (most likely a minke whale) that came in with the tide a few days too! So cool! We found starfish & sea snails at low tide. Gorgeous sunsets! The cottage is incredibly clean, comfortable & well stocked with everything you need. We bought fresh lobsters and got great deals from a local co-op twice on the Schoodic Peninsula along with fresh oysters from another local guy and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our delicious dinners. Maine lobsters & oysters are something special! We drove all around the Schoodic peninsula to the small towns (Winter harbor, south harbor & Corea) and also visited the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia NP. Saw a porcupine driving in, climbed the rocks & experienced the beautiful scenery! The cottage is a 40-50 min drive to Bar Harbour and Acadia NP. We loved the Park Loop drive and hiked a bunch of scenic trails there 3 different days too! A nature lovers dream vacation! Beautiful mountains, fresh sea air, delicious foods! 10/10 would love to return & stay here again

5 stars – A Peaceful Retreat That Exceeded Expectations!

This place was absolutely immaculate—spotless from top to bottom. We were immediately struck by how peaceful and inviting it felt. The setting was quiet and relaxing, perfect for a restful getaway. One of the biggest surprises was how well-stocked everything was. From tissue and paper towels to a variety of spices in the kitchen, it felt like the hosts had thought of everything. We didn’t have to run out the first night to shop. The wildlife was an added surprise.Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

Tidal Ledge - was the best!

Our 6-day stay at Tidal Lodge cottage was a trip to remember. The atmosphere was outstanding with an impeccably clean home and unparalleled views. We saw bald eagles and seals, cormorants, and so many other cool creatures every morning and evening. Tracey was the best host with regular communication in advance and during our stay. We’ll be back, for certain. 10/10!

Tidal serenity

I would give this property 100 stars if I could! Best VRBO I have ever stayed. It is immaculate, private, well appointed with floor to ceiling windows looking over the tidal basin. The tidal water changes are a show in themselves and the wildlife adds to its splendor. The gas fireplace warmed the rooms when the air cooled in the evening. Full kitchen to eat-in and use. A perfect size home for a couple or two. Bar Harbor and Acadia NP are a short drive, and Hancock has many hiking options. But the best part was sitting by the water's edge in the Adirondack chairs and watching the tide roll in, pause for a bit and roll out. Can't beat it. Tracey was fantastic - start to finish. I wish we could have stayed longer. We'll be back! Thanks Tracey! :)

Peaceful getaway

Home was cozy and the views were spectacular. Having breakfast one morning and six deer leisurely walked beside the window and down to the water. It was one of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

Best experience ever.

This is the best VRBO I have ever stayed. The location is amazing, secluded in the forest just far enough away from town but not too far to drive and see the sights. The views are amazing and it is easy to spend hours looking outside at nature.The cottage is well appointed with everything you need to be comfortable. Tracy is easy to communicate with and answers questions quickly. I highly recommend.

Best cottage in Maine

This was our second visit to this cabin, and I am not disappointed with the accommodations of the property or its location to places of interest found in and around bar harbor and Acadia park. My wife and I will return here again if the opportunity ever presents itself in the future.

Feels like home

Have stayed at this location for the past 3 years and we want to go back. It is a peaceful stay for us in a beautiful location with an ever-changing view of the tidal river. The quality and attention to detail makes this cottage so comfortable. Location is perfect to visit both Acadia, Schoodic and of DownEast Maine, which we love to visit.

Amazing!!

We absolutely loved it here and can’t wait to come back! The house is perfect and the views can’t be topped. We loved sitting out back and watching the tides and wildlife (lots of seals) and both said spending time at the house was a highlight of our vacation!

Fantastic Place

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights, what a wonderful place. The scenery out back is so beautiful, getting to watch the tide go in out is amazing. The place is awesome, just as advertised. I have stayed in a many VRBO's this place has the softest towels ever. The host Tracey was so accommodating to our needs. If you get a chance to go to Maine, make this place one of your stays. Water Front Fabulousness

My small family stayed at this cottage for a getaway to Maine. It was so lovely in every way. The view was stunning and it was so fun to observe the changing tides. There was not a single thing we needed that was not provided. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances were new functioned perfectly. The location was a bit off the beaten path but that’s want we wanted and driving into Acadia was quick and easy. I would book this place again in a second!
