The Space:

Snow‑kissed trees and the hush of winter greet you as you step onto the deck, steam rising from the private hot tub while the woods glow in soft twilight. Inside, high ceilings and exposed beams frame a warm, light‑filled living space where the crackle of the heater blends with the quiet outside. You’ll find the perfect balance of cozy indoor comfort and crisp, invigorating air, inviting you to linger over meals, games, or a quiet night of stargazing.



Sleeping arrangements

The cabin comfortably sleeps six across three bedrooms. Two queen beds provide spacious rest, a bunk bed adds a playful touch for younger guests, and two sleeper sofa chairs in the lower‑level game room offer flexible sleeping options. Fresh linens, extra pillows and blankets are supplied for added coziness.



Kitchen & dining

A fully stocked kitchen with ample counter space and all essential appliances makes preparing breakfast or dinner effortless. An indoor dining area lets you enjoy meals while the winter wind blows outside, and the adjacent deck features an outdoor dining set and BBQ grill for when the weather permits.



Indoor entertainment

The finished basement doubles as a game room, equipped with ping‑pong, foosball and a TV for relaxed evenings. A washer and dryer are available for longer stays, and fast, reliable Wifi along with a dedicated workspace ensure you can work or stream without interruption.



Outdoor living

Step onto the spacious deck to soak in the private hot tub, a favorite winter ritual as warm water meets cool night air. The deck also includes a BBQ grill and outdoor dining space, while the private backyard blends naturally into the surrounding landscape, offering a tranquil setting for quiet moments.

Dogs are welcome to join the getaway, provided they are up to date on their rabies vaccination as required by Jefferson County. Cats are not allowed due to allergies. Free parking on the premises and self‑check‑in via lockbox make arrival smooth for you and your furry companion.

Tony always answered my texts immediately and was very easy to work with. The place was just as expected; it was comfortable and all amenities were available. Towels were laid out on the beds and the comforters were cute and cozy. The place is well worn; some appliances, mostly gas stove and microwave and towel hooks were very worn out but still useable. We loved all of the amenities, space and privacy in this cabin. We would stay here again.

The property described was not the correct property. We were able to get in with code texted. AC never worked the entire week. When we commented somebody came but still no AC. A fan was brought and fortunately it was a pleasant week temperature wise. The house itself was not cleaned well - throughout - bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, living space. All the doors were swollen and hard if not impossible to open/close. AC would probably have helped that. Garage door stopped working so we raised and lowered it manually. For a house that sleeps 8, there was not adequate plates, bowls, etc. The last, a small thing, is the toilet paper was the thinnest we'd ever seen - thin 1 ply.

Great Stay – Plenty to Do at the Cabin and in Nearby Towns

Overall, we had a great stay! There was plenty to do in the local area, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The game room was a lot of fun—the ping pong table was a big hit for us adults; however, the foosball table would probably be more enjoyable for kids, as it is on the smaller side. We also appreciated the closet stocked with board games.One highlight of our trip was rafting with River Riders—highly recommend asking for Jeff as your guide! He was fantastic!The cabin was just as described in the listing. A couple of things to keep in mind: the walkway from the driveway to the front door is quite narrow and lined with large rocks, which made it a bit tricky for our older guests to navigate. Also, since the cabin is located on steep gravel mountain roads, it’s best to have a vehicle that can handle those conditions.Giving cleanliness 4/5 stars — the interior was clean, but the outside could have used a bit more attention.The host was great with communication—we were able to reach them day or night, and they were very responsive and helpful.All in all, a very enjoyable stay!

Just Okay Property

The kids area and the hot tub were fantastic. The rooms and kitchen worked well. Entire place could use a deep clean and paint touch up. Multiple broken items upon arrival that needed fixing including a kitchen cabinet dining table chair bedroom closet. Laundry room was really dirty and awkwardly placed filled with other sheets and blankets - not washing detergent provided. Only got 6 towels - asked for additional and a few spares and never received them. The place served its purpose we enjoyed the time in the country and mountains but wouldn’t stay again unless the issues were addresses. Lastly the deck has some broken boards and soft spots so we were not really able to use it. Overall place needs to be fixed up a bit. We enjoyed our time together.

The pictures are decieving. They make it seem really nice and luxry. THE DECK does not look like it does in the pictures its all rotted out. The hot tub was not useable, the kitchen was gross and the place was infested with ants. we also unfortunately were there during a water boil effect. The doors inside didnt lock. The kitchen was practically falling apart.The grounds were also not maintained and there was more crab grass weeds and fallen trees that was was depicted. The fan in the bathroom was broken, the stove knobs were all wonky and one point the stove wouldnt trun off. Luckily we got that taken care of.. i would NOT recommended this to anyone nor will i ever use them or any of their other properties in the future.

Not terrible, not amazing

This cabins location is very remote which is what we were looking for. Absolutely recommend AWD vehicles only. The host was excellent in his response to texts and checking in with us along our stay. I did inform the host that the cleaning service is less than mediocre. The basement and steps were clearly not vacuumed with visible clumps of leaves, dirt and debris. The return vents were caked in dust and animal hair. The beds and linens were up to par and mattresses slept well. The hot tub was a great addition as well as the game room (even though it was filthy, the kids didn’t seem to mind). I think we would stay here again if we were assured the cleaning was up to par.

Nice remote location but the house definitely needs some updates. The property wasn't as clean as it should have been, definitely not vacuumed. Good size for our group of 5 and close to Harper's Ferry. Host always gave quick responses.

Wonderful wooded mountain location

My husband and I along with our 2 small dogs had a wonderful stay at this lovely mountain retreat. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed to cook breakfast and an easy dinner each evening. The property was beautiful with lots of tall old growth trees that were beautiful with the fall colors and even though it was in a community you felt like you were in a secluded mountain retreat because most of the homes were obsured by the trees; and it is on a dead end road which got little traffic. As others have said the roads are gravel and some are steep (which is to be expected on a mountain) but we have an SUV so we did not mind this... it added to the mountain ambience.

Relaxing weekend in the mountains.

My family and I enjoyed our weekend at this comfortable cabin in the mountains. The six of us co-habited for a few days and there was plenty of room to move around comfortably without being on top of each other. The bedrooms are good sized and the game room kept my kids occupied for hours. The hot tub was an added bonus and it was warm and ready for use upon our arrival. The bathrooms are well stocked with all the necessary toiletries and we found all the equipment we needed in the kitchen to make delicious breakfasts and dinners. Linens and towels were provided which helped eliminate bulky items while packing. We loved being able to have our dog, Maisie, with us and we know she enjoyed the ample space to explore outside while on her walks. The owners are easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any inquiries. This was definitely a nice place to stay at for our weekend get-away.

Great place and spacious.

We went down for work during a cold snowy spell. The house was great with heat and keeping up with the demand. The hosts were in contact to make sure everything went well. Please keep in mind if you go during snow you may need a 4 wheel drive to get in and out. But don’t see a problem with them in normal weather. Would stay at this house again. Peaceful.

Lovely quiet cabin
