The cabin was exactly as listed - a Cozy Cabin! Very comfortable and Cozy. It is in a small neighborhood with a good yard - so it is quiet. We enjoyed a private fire in the backyard.

We enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cabin. The rental was clean, well stocked and in such an amazing location. My 3 young daughters loved wandering around the yard looking for bugs and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. Thank you for having us, we will definitely be back!

Fantastic Cabin in the Woods

I loved this place. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Cabin was exactly as shown with plenty of space for our family of 4. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could have needed. The fire pit was great with plenty of seating and same with the deck. The community pool and lake were beautiful and everyone was friendly. They had volleyball, tennis, basketball, bocce and shuffleboard courts as well as a playground by the pool. There were deer every where which we all enjoyed. One walked right behind the fire pit trees while we were starting a fire, it was awesome! I also loved having laundry on site; coming home with clean clothes was such a bonus. The beds were ok but less firm than we like. We were close enough to town that we stopped there each morning to try the different coffee/tea shops before going on day trips. We loved the scenic railroad trip and 100 mile viewing area. We took day trips to Scranton and Hickory Run State Park. I would highly recommend Boulder Field and the Shades of Death Trail in the State Park. It was a great stay and we hope to come back again to see everything we missed.

The property is very well kept. Very clean and comfortable and adorably decorated with a bear theme! Would love to return someday

Cozy cabin

We had a perfect stay. We stayed 2 days and it was perfect for our stay. The pool was great. It was only 6 minutes from Penns Peak. We would highly recommended. The only down fall which is not their fault. The trash was closed on our stay so we had to take it with us.

Cigarette Smell

Upon arrival, unit smelt strongly of cigarettes. Landlord informed us the previous renter burnt something in the stove and while that may he true, the back bedrooms smelt strongly of cigarettes.With an infant and a small child, we were not able to stay. However, since the reservation had started, I could not recoup any of the rent. I asked the landlord for half of the rent back, but they have not returned my request.I also made an insurance claim, but was told it was not covered.Overall, its extremely frustrated our one vacation this summer did not work out. Even more frustrating though is the complete lose of the rent.

Peaceful cabin

We had a nice stay. The cabin is beautiful and invites to have a peaceful and joyful time. Please, be aware you need to bring your own shower/bathroom towels. For the price paid for the cabin stay, towels should be provided.

Comfortable Stay and Great Location!

My friend and I (and our 2 toddlers) had a wonderful stay at the cabin! We were very comfortable - the beds and pillows were great, the individual thermostats in each room were much appreciated. The kitchen was great for cooking and prepping. And there were even some toys for our toddlers who were thrilled! The location is great - friendly neighbors and nice walking around Bear Lakes. Very close to downtown Jim Thorpe and trails, which we really enjoyed. It was a great spot, and we would definitely return.

Quiet Cozy Cabin

Hosts were awesome, easy to communicate with. Place was extremely clean. Everything worked as it should. Washer/dryer was nice. Clean updated shower and bathroom. Just outside of Jim Thorpe. Nice and quiet while still a short drive to town. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

Cozy Cabin is Right!

The neighborhood is quiet, the location is great, and the outdoor space is perfect for relaxing if the weather is cooperative. The hosts will do the best to make your guest experience right, and sharing their cabin as a benefit to us all. The kitchen is well stocked, for those needing that option. The cabin and grounds are set up for six, which is more accurate than some cabins. I recommend this property for your next getaway! We had some challenges with the internet connection if a laptop was introduced to the network. Once we figured out late in the week what the issue was and removed the laptop, the smart TVs and cell phone access was less frustrating. There is very limited cell coverage on Verizon at the location, so as an IT/IS professional this could have been a limitation in an emergency situation. That said, the host immediately responded to the issue and jumped in with options to remediate. If you don't need emergency work requiring internet (and this might be remedied going forward, or know you may need to find a location for emergencies), by far this is the perfect location to explore the Poconos.

fantastic!!

The house is extremely nice. Arrived to find house just as described. The house has 3 good sized bedrooms that were very clean, and a full bathroom with tub/shower combo that was also spotless. Newer stackable washer and dryer were in closet area in bathroom. The kitchen was very well equipped with anything you could possibly need. The living room was clean and roomy. Get deck and firepit with chairs. The deck was off the front and huge with trex seating and a very large picnic table with umbrella. We were very happy with our stay. enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Perfect place for a weekend stay

We stayed for the weekend while going to a Spartan race. We went I to town across the river, what a charming place. House was perfect, had everything we needed. Even a washer and dryer which is a huge plus after running that race!!

Clean and Comfortable

The place was very clean and has a very nice deck for sitting outside. We came up to do a rafting trip and the house was very convenient to the outfitter that we used so it worked out well.

Great Stay in a Great Location!

My family of 3 had a wonderful stay at Mike & Devon’s property. The home was more spacious than I expected and was nice and sunny and warm inside! They provide a book with tons of information about restaurants and local sites! The neighborhood was more residential than I expected it to be, but the property has plenty of outdoor space (front porch, back yard with a table and fire pit) and the access to the lake and fishing access we’re great! Mike and Devon replied super quickly to any questions I had and were very accommodating hosts!
