Beautiful hotel in a safe location near a Penn State campus. Dining right outside the hotel was Damon's Restaurant, Hersey Mike's and Starbucks. Front desk staff was helpful and very pleasant.

Everything about this stay was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was elevated, they had a soy milk option, they had a bar where you could put toppings on oatmeal, yogurt, or cereal. These toppings included dried fruits, nuts, chocolate chips, and granola. The apples and bananas were fresh and ripe, the staff did an amazing job keeping up with restocking and cleanliness, the waffle makers had the option of making 4 waffles at once, so there was never a line. I'm vegetarian but we traveled with a meat eater who enjoyed the sausage, scrambled eggs, and hard boiled eggs. The front desk staff was polite and helpful and when we asked for things they were happy to help. The checkout time is 12pm which is amazing since that means no rush, which is always appreciated when traveling with children. Also, the cleaning staff didn't knock on our door once, which often happens when they are trying to get through cleaning all the rooms in the morning. The heated pool and sauna were open from 6am-10pm which was convenient for our family since we came in later in the day and wanted to swim before we left as well. The room was immaculate, so clean, fresh, and modern with a high ceiling and large flat screen tv. I'd absolutely stay here again.
