The late check-in was quick and the receptionist was very nice. The room was very small to fit 2 single beds comfortably. The towels very worn and there was no hand towel. There were no wellcome bottles of water and no complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant opened at 5am which allowed us enough time for breakfast before our early morning flight.

Perfect hotel for a long FinnAir layover to see the city. Free shuttle bus takes you from and to airport, where you can also take train into the city.

Hope you like indoor heat in summer!

I had a late arrival for a one night stay before an early flight out of Helsinki the next morning. I arrived in my room and was hit with heat. The thermostat was set at 28C. I tried to lower it. Several times. I was too exhausted to call the front desk to try to figure out how to cool down the room, so I opened the window (thankfully, it opened), took a shower, and plopped down on top of the bed. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and the room adequate for my one-night needs.

Beware Rooms get HOT

It was very nice hotel close to the airport with good shuttle services. Staff was friendly however it was the hottest hotel I’ve ever been in. Our room stayed at 28 degrees all night. The staff brought us a fan but it was utterly miserable. I would have rather slept on the street.

No need to use the sauna, the room is one.

I've stayed in the Holiday Inn twice this past week. The 1st time the room was at 24° all night. My 2nd stay was even hotter.

The lady at the reception on the 10/7/25 at 7:00 pm was excellent, good attitude, problem solver and very accommodating with the situation that the A/C of the room wasn’t working properly, couldn’t get down the temperature of the room from 28.

I had a difficult stay as the room temperature rose to 25°C, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. When I raised this with management, I was told to simply crack open the window. Unfortunately, they were unwilling to offer any refund or work with me on a solution.
