It is OK for the price. Rooms were cosmetically OK. walls painted over the old paint. bathroom and shower are good. Breakfast can be better. It included waffle maker and the rest was cold. boiled eggs, bagels, cereal, instant hot cereal, juices. Staff is friendly, but not always understands English. For example when I asked to extend my checkout they said OK, but when I came back room was already cleaned. I had to lookup for my clothes and other things.

The main light switch and desk lamp wasn’t working, there were some stains on our bed sheets, and a huge rip in the ceiling above our bed. My husband also found 3 bugs in our room as well.

The entire hotel and room smelled strongly like a gas station bathroom sanitizer. The beds were broken down with big divots where springs were gone. It was freezing and when we turned on the heat is it smelled like burning wires on tope of the gas station bathroom sanitizer smell. We opted for freezing.

In a room w 2 queen beds it would have been good to have a second mirror. Lighting in the bath room was rather poor. No room cleaning unless u stay 4 days but we were provided clean towels when we went to the front desk. Breakfast was adequate but only bananas for fruit. Waffles and toast were the only warm items. Lighting in the room and hallway was a little dim esp for older people w poorer eyesight

It was clean, but run down and the loud at night

The blackout curtains were ripped, so the room never got dark during the day or in the morning. I've never stayed at a hotel that had this happen before, it is a very cheap thing that should be fixed before the next person stays here. Around midnight a truck backed up right in front of our room, and we started smelling diesel fumes after the truck ideles for close to 30 minutes, keeping us awake. I've also never seen such blatant disregard for other people's sleep.

The room appeared clean, however I found multiple bugs in the sheets! The check-in personnel did not know what they were really doing. Check-in process was rough. He didn’t know how to read a driver’s license and did not speak English very well at all. He was also confused and wanted to know why I wanted a different room after finding bugs in the beds.

My husband and I were Choice Hotel members many years ago until the condition of their hotels began to go downhill. Quality Inns were one of the worst as far as poor conditions go. However, since I was struggling to find an affordable room in Holland, MI, and since there were many very positive reviews of this hotel, I decided to take a chance. Sadly, I regretted it the minute we walked in our room. Every wall was in desperate need of being painted. in the room and the bathroom. The walls were dirty and marred. There was even a big glob of toothpaste on the all next to the sink. They had patched a large area above the shower but never bothered to paint over it. The bathroom door had been scratched all up and down it and was also dirty. The sheers on the window had mildew all along the bottom hem. The room smelled musty and sour, I'm assuming from the air conditioner. The beds were clean and comfortable but, other than that, I have nothing good to say about our room. I don't know where the people stayed that left the positive reviews, but it couldn't possibly have been THIS hotel!

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean. We were in town for a wedding and just needed a place to sleep and gar ready. Perfect! Price was good. I do not like to pay for expensive hotels when you are in the room for less than 11-12 hours.i would stay again.
