Was not aware the main casino was a smoking area. So when you first walk into the hotel you smell cigars and cigarettes. Breakfast food selection is minimal. Valet parking when leaving is harder than it needs to be. Rooms were clean and acceptable but over priced. We went to a concert and it was very convenient to stay in hotel but since I live in Boca, will drive home instead.

The room was perfect as was all else. As a consitent Fort Lauderdale visitor I would more than likely stay again. The only issue is that the my comps from the Las Vegas Hotel I frequent ( Venetian/Palazzo) are very hard to pass up

For close to $1K a night I expected a 5 star experience. This was hardly a 3 star. There was nobody at the entrance to unload our car when we arrived Friday afternoon at 2:30. Our driver had to go looking for someone to unload his car. The room looked. dated. We liked the large accessible shower and bathroom. Many glitches. Poor service at the pool. Hard to get someone to open umbrellas, lay out the white towels and worst of all I saw two lifeguards, one on duty, talking to each other and ignoring toddlers and other non swimmers. ( over 10 minutes) David, an excellent employee suggested my husband might like a chair instead of a lounge chair and ran and got him one. And it was perfect and much appreciated. On check in the front desk told us that we had one room for 2 nights on 2 separate reservations, we would have a smooth stay with a seamless experience because he linked them in the computer. That didn’t happen. On day 2, when I left the room ( accessible room) with my original door “key” it didn’t work. This meant I had to leave my husband who is handicapped to go back to the front desk and get new keys. Dining: we enjoyed Kuro. We had excellent service with John the waiter Danny the busboy and Sophia at the front. Food was spectacular as was the ambience. We came to the hotel to see Jerry Seinfeld on Saturday night and chose to make a weekend of it. If we buy tickets to future shows here, we won’t choose this property. each other ignoring little kids swimming.
