The staff were the best and super friendly. The morning kitchen crew seemed stressed or tired, but were still very friendly. The front desk was hands down the best. Roger I believe his name was had been super helpful when checking in. My room smelled of smoke and he sent James from maintenance to fix the smell. Everyone was super friendly down to the housekeeping crew. I had a positive experience.

The the hospitality of the staff was amazing, Very helpful and courteous. The free breakfast was a continental breakfast. It would have been nice if they offered, yogurt, bagels, or Waffles. The fresh fruit every morning, with eggs and meat Gave you your protein to start the day. The initially the room was clean other than more dusting could have been done. Our housekeeper, Keep our room very nice and fresh everyday. The location was really good. Walkable scenery with shopping and eateries. For the rate we really enjoyed the Vive hotel. I will stay there again and have all ready recommended the Vive to a close friend who has booked his stay for October trip...

Hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is super close to the beach and shopping. The room furniture is a bit old (stains on couch and window air conditioners). Overall a comfortable stay.

Everyone was warm, professional, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. I love that it’s only 3 mins away from Waikiki Beach. Breakfast was very good. Good selection of fruits and muffins/rolls. Within walking distance to beach,shopping, dining. Negatives are no pool,parking is a little expensive, but valet service was very good.

Overall, we had a very positive experience at this hotel. The location couldn’t be better – just a short 3-minute walk to the beach, with plenty of shops and restaurants right around the corner. The staff were warm and welcoming, always responding to our questions in a calm and professional manner. Breakfast was enjoyable, offering a good variety: boiled eggs or omelets, bacon or sausages, a nice selection of pastries and breads, and a fresh assortment of fruit such as watermelon, pineapple, papaya, and melon. We also appreciated the complimentary beach gear – although the chairs were a little worn, it was still very convenient to have them available. Our deluxe ocean-view room was pleasant, though a bit compact. The furniture showed some age, but the bathroom was in excellent condition with no signs of mold. The linens and towels were fresh and clean, while the carpet could have been a little less dusty. Overall, the hotel offers great value with its prime location, friendly staff, and thoughtful amenities.

The staff is great! The breakfast was also nice to have. The hotel provided towels and accessories for beach days which was very nice. The rooms are just a bit dated and very small. The restrooms in particular are super small, like the restrooms in a stater room on a cruise ship. A bit let down by the rooms but overall a pleasant experience.
