The room was spotless. As explained on the website, the staff basically leaves you alone. (This is a good thing.) The cabins are a bit rustic and ramshackle, but that seems appropriate in a small mountain town.

Staff were great but lots of issues with room. Paper thin walls., could hear the people chewing next door. Extremely small and tight bathroom with shower head that could peel your skin off. Beautiful view off the back balcony and cool delivered continental breakfast.

First the property itself is rustic, quiet, and convenient for us and what our goals of this trip was. Our goal was to stay somewhere affordable and nice to enjoy the town more. Which this is a perfect option for that. The rooms are definitely on the rustic, cabin vibes and the staff are very sweet and kind. I would say the only major downside was the interior heaters were non operational and they had these mini transportable heaters that just didn’t heat up the space enough. So it was VERY cold. And this is just personal for my preference but two pillows were not enough, would’ve at least liked four pillows. I know if I called, the staff would have provided it, again they were sweet but it was late and I didn’t want to wake them over some pillows. But! It would’ve been nice to have those extra pillows for sleep comfort. Overall, for a quick one night stay and getaway, with what our goals were in mind. I recommend it here and give it 4 or 4.5 stars.

Overall our stay was okay. Our first night was rough as we heard rats crawling around in the walls which kept us up all night. The room was not as clean as we’d hoped and the kitchen area had a strange smell. I really did love the concept of the bunkhouse cabin but it didn’t meet my expectations unfortunately.

Clean, adorable little room! The little balcony was a nice place to sit and watch birds and squirrels. Quiet and close to downtown. The ladder to the loft needs attention. The fridge needed attention. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay and I will most definitely be back. Thank you!
