We got in and got to our room and settled in, headed out to get food and realized our door was on crooked or not sealed. As in the picture you could see through the top and the side of the door. We got moved into a new room and there were chips on the counter like the room hadn’t been cleaned.

Worst customer experience by Manager

We had already been in the room for over 30 days. We talked to the front desk and spoke with the manager and one of the front desk agents. They agreed to letting us stay for another couple weeks and was told that we could pay in the afternoon after work. We get a call in the afternoon saying that we needed to get our stuff and needed to leave. We had to leave early to come and talk to the manager. Manager said that didn't realize that we had been in the room that long (even though we talked about it a few different times). Worst customer experience I have ever had.

There was no mention of the train always running outside the window and was a hard to relocate rooms. Was a interesting building but all was created to seem welcoming but was very insane asylum vibe

Not the best

The toilet was clogged, the room smelled like someone sprayed air freshener in the AC unit, the bed was uncomfortable. We booked this room to allow my boyfriend to get a good nights sleep since he works nights for construction and we decided we’d just head home instead. We stayed a total of two and a half hours if that.

I love staying at this particular La Quinta. The uniqueness of the rooms that were once grain silos is fascinating. Although it is fairly close to a busy freeway, you are not bothered with traffic noise. The interesting old buildings in the same parking lot are from a different era and are quite nice to explore. Adding a close by side trip to visit the Irvine estate home (now a public library) and grounds is worth the timevas well.

We stayed here a total of three nights. The property is worn and poorly maintained. The worse part is that half the rooms in the concrete addition sit nearly on the two train tracks so you will be awakened several times each night by passing trains. The location was very convenient and the price reasonable.

Where is My Refund? Trip canceled!!!!!!

This trip never happened. Their employee accidentally canceled my trip which costed me $1400 which I still have not been refunded to my account $1000 on a gift card which now I am homeless so I don’t know where you’re going to send it and over $390 back to my bank account. This was their fault they told me they sent Hotels.com the money. The property sent Hotels.com my money and you have not refunded me my money please contact me ASAP. I need my money and it was all their fault. Also, it took 7 to 10 business days thus to get it to me which it still has not gotten to me and it’s been 10 business days. I am very upset. Staff: without question the star of the show here. I had an extended stay here (over a month) and the staff was over accommodating. They all need to be commended. Property: its a cheap hotel, what do you expect? If you want the ultimate - look elsewhere. If youre trying to be budget minded then loosen up a little. The place is fine, clean and safe. Hell even irvine PD posts up and patrols the parking lot a little too much but at least you and your things are safe there. Pet friendly: my australian shepherd did just fine here and the staff never questioned a thing about him or me or my dog owner status (service dog or not)

I will try and keep it short. Booked my stay through expedia, weeks ago. A few days before my trip i received a message asking If I wanted a upgrade for 15$ more so I said yes since the room looked bigger and it had a couch. When I checked in they said it wasmt available now come tomorrow it will be. Next day comes and they said it was needing cleaning (4pm) to come back. Waited 15 mins come back and they gave it away!!!! BAD COMMUNICATIONS EITHER THROUGH EXPEDIA OR THE HOTEL. Carpets were horrible so were they sheets. Neighbors smoking inside their rooms with the doors open. (We have kids) Just a mess. Spend 20$ more and go somewere Else

Was a rough stay. Elevator was broken and stairs smelled like old mildew. Building is an old factory type building so rooms looked more like a fall out shelter and all concrete so can hear everyone’s conversations and tv. Also wish there would have been a notice or something saying that it was about 10 ft from the railroad tracks. Will not be staying here anymore.

This is easy to find and close to the freeway exit. With the current rain in LA, this was appreciated greatly. Glad there is an elevator! The room is comfortable . My one complaint is the carpet in the room is not clean.

Minor complaints

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Poor service in regards to missing things in the room ( refrigerator, body wash, extra toilet paper and do not disturb placard). Ice maker in hallway didn’t work, one day no decaf coffee, breakfast was not great ( no warm eggs or meat)! Other than those complaints I would stay there again because of the low price. It’s in a good area. The rooms in the silo part of the hotel on train track side are noisy with trains going by but still not too bad.
