Sultanhan Hotel - Special Class offers 48 air-conditioned accommodations with minibars (stocked with some free items) and a safe. This individually decorated accommodation has separate sitting areas and includes day beds. Select Comfort beds feature Egyptian cotton sheets, down duvets and premium bedding. A pillow menu is available. LCD televisions come with premium satellite channels. Bathrooms include a combined bath/shower unit with a rainfall showerhead, slippers, designer toiletries and complimentary toiletries.

This hotel is at prime location just walking distance to Blue mosque Grand Bazaar ,tram what else can u ask for . Room average not much view , having said that when u are on holiday u just use ur room to sleep thats it , the views from breakfast restaurant are stunning, the staff are super friendly ,visited their spa my 1st ever turkish bath experience and would recommend it any day, Anna the masseuse was amazing ,was bit sceptical getting the bath and sauna treatment after going thru a bypass 6 months ago , but Anna made the experience amazing she ensured and checked on me if I was ok time to time and not applying too much pressure.... will return to Istanbul and without a shadow of doubt this is where I will be staying again.. Thank you for ur amazing hospitality..

Convenient location in the Sultanhamet

It classifies itself as a "special category" but we felt that it fell to just above a 3 star. It is conveniently placed for all the usual sights and the rooftop restaurant had a spectacular views over the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. The staff were extremely helpful - ranging from the reception staff to the cleaning ladies. The brekfast sets you up for the day.

The building is run-down, and the pictures are not representative of the actual property. Our room, despite being one of the suites, was near the elevator, which makes a jet engine noise day and night. The balcony had broken furniture, dying plants, and was covered in bird droppings. To access the "spa" area, you have to cross a dark laundry area, which is rather disconcerting. Considering the price of the room, this was a tremendous disappointment. The only positive point was the very friendly and helpful staff.

It looks and feels a lot duller than the photos. Location is excellent, right next to the train line. The room was very comfortable. The hotel interiors were duller than the impression left by the photos. Breakfast on the terrace was excellent as were the views. Staff was very friendly and eager
