Bridlepath Lake Resort is a 2,200 Sqft. completely renovated retreat home on the Lake. A secluded gem with 110 feet of private lakefront and sand beach situated on Chautauqua Lake in Bemus Point, NY. Private and peaceful, yet within walking distance to all of the excitement (shop, dine, golf, etc.) of Bemus Point Village. With its brand new updated coastal beach design, your Chautauqua Lake experience will be like no other. Large lawns in the front (lakeside) and back of the house. Fire pit near the Lake. Long, private pier with a 12 x 20' platform at the end to enjoy lake life, sunsets, etc. Up to two boats can be tied to posts next to the dock. Large common areas (kitchen, living room, sunroom, porch and patio) to enjoy. Patio is steps from the fully stocked kitchen and living room, faces the Lake and comes with a gas grill and comfortable outdoor furniture.

We transformed an original 1930’s cottage/1960’s outdated addition into a stunning all-season lake/beach encounter. Our property is not only secluded (end of a private road) providing a peaceful experience, we're also short walk or minute drive to charming Bemus Point Village--the best of both worlds!

Our open-floor plan home and grounds includes:
- new appliances,
- central air-conditioning,
- heating system (base board/boiler heating)
- patio,
- boat dock (12x20' platform)
- all new landscaping

Great location!

This is located right on Chautauqua Lake. There is a large yard and a dock. The house was exactly as described. Everything was clean, organized and by far the best stocked rental I have ever been to! Would love to come back again with my family!

Our family had more fun at this cottage.. The place itself was wonderful. Very clean, nice flow and very comfortable..we will definitely be back next year for a stay. The best part for us was the fishing right off the dock was just amazing. Dock was big and sturdy with a great variety of fish .We highly recommend this place.

Wonderful getaway

Perfect location for a family gathering

Stayed at this property over Easter weekend to meet up with my son from college. There were 8 people. Plenty of room in this house for all of us to either be together or spread out. Beautiful view of the lake! House is nicely updated and very comfortable!

Just what we needed!

Stayed here for a friends weekend. Our goal was to relax and this place was perfect for it! Beautifully decorated, clean, cozy, we loved all of it. Debra was available to us if we had questions. The town is such a quaint small town and we had plenty of options to explore. Can’t say enough about this special place!

Wonderful Lakehouse

Such a great stay for our annual Chautauqua Lake visit and we'll definitely be back. Fantastic location, just a quick walk over to Bemus point. Fully equipped house with tons of room. So many cozy rooms with great views of the lake and lovely outdoor spaces. We enjoyed sitting out on the dock, having fires, kayaking, and game night at the nice large table. Stay here, you won't regret it.

Family Trip

My Husband, Mom & Uncle and I all stayed here for our little family trip to the “I Love Lucy” museum. It was the perfect little getaway. The property was beautiful and the house was spotless. The house was right on the lake, and you never got tired of looking at the view! The house had everything we needed and we all had our own rooms, which was nice. All the beds had fresh linens and towels, and everything was neat and organized for us. We appreciated the coffee and tea that was there for our convenience as well. Also, we loved how the house was decorated with lake themed & little fall decoration's for the season, it made it feel like home. The check-in/check-out process was all explained and made easy for us. We also enjoyed the cute little towns nearby and almost every place we stopped at whether for a meal or quick coffee/treat was great! We had a wonderful time and all agreed we look forward to coming back one day again!

Bemus Point, a touch of heaven on earth! :-)

What a beautiful home and quaint area! This house was immaculate, and there was so much room that we were able to relax and unwind. The kitchen was stocked with necessities, and the washer and dryer helped when we needed to wash towels after fishing in the rain. We can say this was a home away from home for us, and to add to the great experience, the hosts went out of their way to make our trip perfect! Our weekend at this house was wonderful, and hopefully, it will be available again when we want to return next summer!

This lake house is absolutely beautiful. Super clean. Debra is amazing to communicate with. This house is a hidden gem in an amazing spot! The location is walking distance to quaint Bemus Point. We had so much fun.

AWESOME HOME, LOCATION & OWNERS

This was our first time staying at Bridlepath and everything was OUTSTANDING. The home and property were clean, up to date and there was plenty of room for my wife /self, daughter/family of 4, daughter/family of 3 and our son. The grandkids (age 1, 3 and 5) enjoyed the yard and sand beach. Walking to Bemus Point for mass, morning drinks, lunch, dinner or ice cream made it quick and convenient. Docking the pontoon boat was easy right off the dock. Rick and Debra were amazing hosts right from the start when we booked through when we lefT. We all look forward to coming back !

Family Vacation

We have now stayed at the Bridlepath property for 3 years. It is clean, quiet, peaceful, beautiful, well stocked and welcoming. If it is available stay here. You would be a fool not to.
