Nice hotel but not worth $220 a night

Good location. Hotel lobby was clean and welcoming. The room was fine, clean; nothing extraordinary. The bed was very comfortable. I did like having the sink separate from the bathroom. The whole 3rd floor hallway smelled very strongly of curry, which is not a complaint just an observation. The room did not smell at all. Breakfast was good. The nightly rate (we stayed on a Friday night) was outrageous compared to any other day in the month of April. I'm sure that was due to the Nascar race that weekend in Bristol, but for a family coming to Johnson City to tour ETSU, it was very off-putting. That being said, every hotel in the area also increased their rates for that weekend. I would stay here again but not for this price.

Just Ok

Greatly disappointed with the shower!! The door didn’t come all the way down, so it allowed water from the shower to spill onto the floor. Had to put the bath mat AND a towel on the floor to soak up water. This is how the door was made to attach and not because of any damage or deteriorated parts. The door also wouldn’t close all the way. Had to fold a washcloth over several times and wedge it between the glass door and framing to keep the door shut. The mattress was comfortable, but the bed squeaked badly, sounding as if screws were very loose in the frame. There were slashes (cuts) in the curtain. The people were friendly, the room was very clean and spacious, and it was in a good location.

Property was in a good location for why I was there. Staff was very nice, beds were good, would like to have a different variety for breakfast, but enough to do the job. Overall no real complaints and would definitely stay again.

Nice budget hotel

Very nice and clean. Comfortable beds although there was a couple of drops of blood on sheet in one of the beds. Shower is not designed to reach in to turn on without getting you halfway soaked with ice cold water. Breakfast was good.

Good Overnight Stay for the Price

This is a great stay for the price. Yes it is a step down from the Hilton/Marriott brand hotels of course. The decor not as fancy, not as many bells and whistles but it's also about $50-$100/night cheaper than those. For the price, it was a good stay. Came into town for overnight stay for mid-afternoon appt the next day. Staff was friendly and gave me a late checkout with no complaints which allowed me to work from the hotel room for a few extra hours before the appt. Room was clean and in good shape and everything worked. Bed slept very well and fridge was good. Breakfast was about what you'd expect for this price range hotel. It included some mini-omelettes with cheese in them, sausage, deli ham and assortment of muffins/bagels/cereal/yogurt. Sausage was not good (but I'm extremely picky). Eggs/muffins were just ok. It worked but I wouldn't recommend the breakfast. Area is a good spot with several restaurants within half a mile. Hotel was quiet but there weren't many people there the night I stayed - it was pretty thin. As whole this was worth the price. Nothing fancy but for a relatively lower-mid level price point in the area it was good and I'd be fine staying here again and saving $50/night over the levels of hotel that I typically stay at.

Quiet area. Nice staff. The complimentary breakfast is where they fall short. Thin sliced deli ham is not good to have with the eggs. Also most mornings there wasn't a single piece of fresh fruit
