As seems to be the trend now, there was no general lighting in the room. One floor lamp, far away from where you might need it. Ditto one desk lamp. Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker were all set into a cove that was so dark you could not read any of the controls. Clock/radio controls were impossible to see in the dark so...I unplugged it and took it to where there was more light. Set the alarm and put it back where it was. When I plugged it back in, I had to reset the time. I thought maybe I could get a new battery from the front desk but when I checked, There was no battery in it. Now, I know everyone uses their phone for these functions now but, this is what I am used to at home. TV was very difficult to find anything interesting or unbiased to watch. When I selected something called "Local news", it turned out "Local" meant Taiwan. I can only assume the TV, being manufactured in Taiwan, assumed that was local. Eventually gave up and tried to listen to the radio. Radio did not work because the antenna/line cord was bunched up and double zip-tied. Fridge had no freezer but by turning the temperature to minimum, it would freeze everything which was fine for me. Breakfast & coffee always ready promptly at 6:00 AM. Nice place to stay if you bring a flashlight, clock, and radio. (Or you are adept at using these features on your phone.)
