The rooms were very hot during our stay. Even when we lowered the thermostat to 68°, it would automatically reset to 74°, so we had to constantly adjust it. Because of this, the room felt stale and stuffy, and there was an unpleasant odor as well. Additionally, the direct access to the beach/pool area was closed off, which meant we had to walk all the way around the hotel each time. This was inconvenient and not something we were made aware of beforehand. Overall, the temperature issues and limited access significantly impacted our comfort and experience.

When I first went to check in the system was down and it took forever. There was constant construction in teary morning that didn’t let us sleep, the elevator was broken and we got stuck in it for a few minutes, the bathroom walls were dirty, I went to get some ice and there were bugs frozen in the machine!!! The room service staff didn’t speak English and did not understand our requests, they came banging on our door in the morning which woke us up… overall terrible experience!!!

The room was neglected & the staff was pretty much absent & extremely short when you were finally able to get someone behind the desk. The entire hotel was constantly dirty from all the construction going on non stop from 7am til dark. They were rude and careless and at the very least could have said something about construction & given a discounted rate so people can decide if that’s what they want for their overpriced stay on Miami Beach. The pool bar they ranted about online and in e mails was NOT open. Neither was the steak house & the “new” beaches restaurant was a joke of a hell hole. Honestly was depressing .. plenty of minor details led up to a horrid stay.

The rooms were broke down outdated and there were bugs crawling on the floor. There was not an exhaust fan in the bathroom and that breaks code. It was literally the worst room I have ever stayed in. The holes in the walls, ceilings and in the floor where the bathroom is was absolutely neglected.

Old, front desk staff rude and disinterested, bad construction. 9am-5pm everyday ultra loud. Not peaceful. Small old bathroom. No breakfast buffet. No tiki hut (except for a couple hours on Saturday). Beach wasn’t great. Go somewhere else.
