The staff was absolutely wonderful! So friendly! The breakfast in the morning was more than I expected! Very good! Definitely my go to place when I come to Milwaukee

2.5- Read Before you stay here, Looks Deceiving

I give this stay a honest 2.5 stars out of 5. I made this trip to spend time with my daughter. The room was tidy, although it had a weird musty smell the first night. I was in room 319, right by elevator. If you want good rest I’d suggest to not get this room. The rooms at the front of hotel gave a warehouse. The switch yard runs thru the night and will keep you up if you don’t have ear plugs, this was very disturbing and irritating. Also noticed what looked like blood spatter on window shams??The pool was nice to swim in. Really should let folks know that the hot tub is broken on the web. The breakfast was mediocre. Same ole stale waffles. Instant eggs and gross sausage. If you need a place to stay I would recommend the holiday inn across the way from Wendy’s. Funny thing is the address took me to Holiday inn, obviously that wasn’t my hotel. So that was a bit frustrating as well. Price point is good. But stay was so-so.

I dont like that the hot tub was broken yet advertised for it, offered me nothing for the inconvenience and took 75$ incidental fee that i dont get back for 10 business days but they took the $ within mins n i wait

Not worth staying

This property is rundown. Pool and hot tub were unavailable. First room (213), inside bottom door trim coming off, mirror that was supposed to be on the wall was placed in the closet (probably one of the easiest fixes for and competent maintenance worker), and the lightbulbs in the nightstand lamps had some odd stuff coating them. North side entrance door was broken. Forgot we had stayed at this same hotel once before a few years ago and that same entrance door was broken then too (unable to use room key to open). Changed room to 231 which was in better shape and closer to the working south side entrance door. Although room key 213 opened that door the new room key 231 did not and the front desk employee just shrugged his shoulders and said uh, that’s odd it should work and left it at that. The night shift employees were unfriendly and seem bothered to have to check me in. One of the employees was on a personal phone call the whole checkin process. Breakfast was a bit below average. They had three kids of cereal. A waffle maker was there with syrup as the only topping. There was a food warmer that had a meat and an egg option each morning. Eggs were a processed egg; one day scrambled the next day some type of sunny side up. The shower did not have a good spray pattern. The only setting that worked was a focused forceful spray which was okay just a narrow coverage area.

Very DISAPPOINTED!

Received a laminated card with room keys stating I was just charged an unexpected $75 for possible damages which I was not informed of at booking or at check in. At check out I was told the $75 would be refunded to my acct in 7-10 DAYS! The toilet in the room did not flush and I personally repaired it 5 times by re-setting the float in the tank! A real nice addition to a romantic night! We specifically booked a hotel with a jacuzzi and pool. The jacuzzi was closed for repair the night we artived. When we webnt back in the morning, the jacuzzi and now the POOL were closed for repair and unavailable. The tv remote did not work. When we entered the room the temp was set at 56 degrees. We woke up numerous times due to the temperature and tried to get a normal room temp all night - which kept us from sleeping more than an hour here and there. I feel DECEIVED by the hotel in their undisclosed $75 charge, and the problems we encountered in the room. When those problems were reported at check-out, no apologies or offers to make ammends were extended. We were SO, SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Staff was friendly but not much help when I asked how to get a refund for our stay. She said she could cancel it but we wouldn’t get refunded…. We specifically picked that hotel for the whirlpool. We checked in got to our room got in our suites and went to the pool area just to find out it’s been out of service for a few months! This should be stated prior to people booking otherwise I would have booked elsewhere! The hotel smelled like weed and cigarettes! Just overall super disappointed and won’t return

The people were nice enough. The property itself could've used a really good cleaning. We didn't use the pool, but if I had kids, I wouldn't want them using it as is. It is extremely visible from the outside into the pool area.
