Gracefully and attractively furnished - new kitchen, large living room with sofa-bed, dining for six, and a large private lanai featuring new patio furniture. Amenities include central air conditioning, walk-in shower, separate tub, and natural stone counters.

We had a nice stay overall at this condo. The room was very clean, easy check in and check out process. No real views but did offer privacy and it was rather quite on that side of the building which did make it nice. Unfortunately, the couch sofa bed was not comfortable at all. My young children complained how uncomfortable they were. The only other issue was the door to the patio was not easy to close at all. We did appreciate having a full kitchen/washer/dryer and the resort is also nice with easy beach access.

Loved Honua Kai! Individual unit had noise issues from neighboring property though. The lanai faced an adjacent property (partial ocean view) with a number of industrial A/C units on the top of the building, which ran constantly. As a result, we didn't spend much time in the unit or with the large glass doors open. Normally, we like to enjoy morning coffee and dinners out on the lanai, looking at the landscape/ocean or beauty of the resort courtyard. Didn't happen this time. For people who like to be out and about a lot and/or aren't effected by industrial noise, it wouldn't be a problem. We are older, quiet and love enjoying the view from the lanai throughout the day. The inside of the unit was nice and very well appointed - the bed was comfortable, snorkel equipment, beach chairs are provided, a nice bit of staples in the kitchen and great appliances. We loved snorkeling just a 5 minute walk from the resort! Communication with host, Farzie, was great. She was attentive and responsive to our needs. I would rent from her again, just not this unit.

The unit is on the quieter side of the resort and very convenient if you want to walk to the local grocery store or hop on the main highway. The unit has a nice view of the ocean and feels private. Easy access to the pools, walking path, and Dukes.

Great for families!

We loved the Honua Kai! This unit was quiet and had a great view out on the lanai. We saw whales from our balcony! The resort was perfect for families. Our kids loved the various pools. One thing we really enjoyed is the location to the food truck park. We ate there about 5 times and felt the food was hands down the best out of everything we ate in Hawaii! Also the little shopping center across the street had a great pizza place and shaved ice! we loved our stay here. Thank you so much!

Everything was great with this place! The condo has a lot of amenities like a gym, a general store, pools, hot tubs, restaurant, equipment rental, etc. this is also in a great area and was within walking distance to a grocery store and a food truck park. Very clean and well stocked. Good communication with owner.

Great location and great view. The resort is really nice with lots of food within walking. Store onsite is also nice. We really liked it. Condo had everything you would need. The only thing we did not like is out of the owners control and did not directly affect us in any way. The public restroom below had many vagrants.

Property is exactly what we needed for our stay in Maui. Kitchen had all the esssntials, the kids were comfortable on the pull out couch. And the view is unbeatable. We ate every meal we had at the condo on the lanai soaking in the view.

Beautiful Waterview with exceptional accommodations

The one bedroom condo does not feel cramped and has a nice northern exposure of the water making it easy to see whales. It’s well furnished with everything you need even with chairs etc. to go to the beach. Honua Kai is a high-end property with everything you could need, including easy access to Dukes restaurant. You can’t go wrong staying here.

Fabulous place to stay!

As an STR owner ourselves, it was certainly nice to come to a place that had everything as described. The resort is great with many nice pools and the beach is right there for that morning walk and sunset view. The Unit was Very clean, with all the things you need to cook with, beach chairs in closet and our absolute favorite, was seeing the whales from the balcony (so many whales). Farzie, the host, was very attentive and made sure we had all the information we needed before and during our stay. Our anniversary trip was nothing short of amazing. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place.

Last minute booking at honua kai. Nice place overall. Room was as described. Patio had partial view of ocean. Nice comfy bed and spacious bathroom. Didnt use kitchen but seemed good. Convenient to have laundry if needed. Extras were appreciated- snorkel gear, chairs and boogie board!

Spectacular Condo

We had the best time at this condo! It was clean, perfect location and had everything we needed for a perfect vacation in Maui! You can snorkel with sea turtles right in front of the house too. Dukes on site was amazing and the service was even better. We can’t wait to come back!
