Nice hotel with a great beach near the black rock snorkeling spot. Pool was nice, but the hotel was “high volume” — a lot of people go through there and I think they have to work hard to keep the place clear, which they do pretty well. We stayed in a deluxe suite with 4 people which was very comfortable and a step above the standard room. We really liked it. We ate most of our meals at the resort, which was very expensive, but the food was decent. Overall, this was a great family trip.

Cat Lovers Paradise

We had a great room with a fantastic view. The grounds are beautiful. Food was pretty good. My wife is allergic to cats and on our final night in their 4 star restaurant they have a cat roaming between and under the tables. We had to leave and try upstairs but the cat had run of the place and showed up there too. We settled for a good steak and half cooked chicken on our patio. Almost spoiled a great vacation but we enjoyed ourselves for the most part.

The property and Maui did not disappoint! We received a $100/day resort credit that made you feel like you were getting a little something extra. Our room was right on the ocean and the housekeeping staff was spot on. The beach, property, everything fit us perfectly. Highly recommend. Many from surrounding properties came by and camped out just for our views and the sunset at Black Rock.

This could be a lean to and I’d still say it’s the greatest. This is BLACKROCK! It’s sacred and it’s awesome! Property is huge and has all manors of lodging. They have classic Hawaiian dishes and performances. Best part, it’s on Kaanapali beach. With waves as high 15feet sometimes coming in. Sometimes, it’s only a foot. Whichever, doesn’t matter, because it’s one of the greatest beaches in the world. Shopping within walking distance. Food within walking distance. Whales within walking distance. Cmon. That’s funny. Always great staff. Always fast check in. Always accommodating.

Loved how beautiful the property was. When we booked our room we did not know how far away from the lobby the room would be, the additional parking lot was helpful with that. Was also a bit of a walk with multiple elevators to get to the pool/beach. Inside of room was nice, seemed a little dated

A bit dated…one of the older resorts…but the staff was awesome….did not do my duty to research the facility but learned where I stayed was seconds down the road from the fire storm that made the news….was proud to give the locals my business and help the community…..lovely facility and lots of traffic was not empty….will be back again……love you Maui……thank you…….Maui Strong!!!!
