This is a true gem in Kanab. Travis got us on a tour of Best Friends Sanctuary and was a wealth of information on dining and how to navigate out to Capitol Reef National Park and Grand Staircase Escalante. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to Utah.

Great little lodge with a personalized experience.

We loved our stay here. The owner, Travis, showed us our room, gave recommendations for meals and checked on us via texting throughout our stay. Each night he lit the firepit and it was fun to share our day with fellow travelers. After this stay, we decided we would focus on staying at locally owned hotels-a more personalized experience.

I really enjoyed my recent stay at this property a few nights last week. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth with my stay. The rooms were very clean and the restaurant (Sego) was beyond terrific. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Kanab.

We’d Stay Here Again!

Check-In was fast and friendly. Very helpful with local restaurant information as well as places to hike. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Had a large min fridge, microwave and Keurig (bring extra K-Cups if you drink a lot of coffee.

A very simple yet elegant lodging choice in Kanab. Decorated with tasteful southwestern lodge furnishings and bathrobes provided for guests …what’s not to love. Travis is the most gracious and hospitable host and very knowledgeable not only about Kanab/the local scene, but also surrounding areas of interest and best routes to travel. Invaluable resource. Will definitely return and highly recommend the Canyon Lodge!

Such a nice motel! And Travis is an excellent host, giving us tips about dining and about making future reservations. The room we reserved was a "cozy" room, a fact not made clear on Expedia. It was a lovely room, but there wasn't much space. It was great for one night, and the price was great. The $10 breakfast buffet was delicious.
