The location is unique. Perfect spot if you want to feel inside a western movie while close to Bryce Canyon and Zion. Kanab has everything you need from restaurants to basic amenities. Rooms are old style (in theme with the place), but have everything you need. Staff is really nice and available to answer all questions. We opted-in for breakfast, which turned out to be a really good choice. Broad selection of both sweet and salty food and also at the restaurant, the staff was really nice. Absolutely suggested to anyone and will definitely come back! Only suggestion is to improve the AC placement. It’s a bit too close to the bed and too strong overnight.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay while we visited Zion National Park. We had a great check in experience, enjoyed our rooms, The Iron Horse restaurant and dining at the resort restaurant for breakfast.

As many reviews have indicated, this property is a little older but if you are not hung up on that, you will have a wonderful stay. The room was definitely large enough, the bed was very comfortable, the refrigerator was large and ice cold, the air conditioner certainly made the room cold enough, and the 2 sinks helped when we were both preparing to go out. The property is centrally located so you can walk to almost everywhere in town. The price is competitive with every other lodging option in town and cheaper than most. The young man at the front desk was incredibly helpful at check-in and later when we needed assitance with housekeeping. Housekeeping comes to clean the room every other day. We were out from 8 in the morning until 5pm on our third day, we got back to the room and it had not yet been cleaned. Not sure what ths issue was but it was rectified when we went out to dinner.

It was a neat property but run down. Our rooms were disappointing as we were placed in an old hotel style building. We thought all the rooms would be a pull up motel style. Pool hours were not as advertised. Breakfast was average and the hotel dining room is not open except for breakfast.
