Please keep looking. This is not the one.

After a very long drive the clerk was not in the mood for helping us. i didn't have the right card right away and she was going to turn us away instead of trying to help us figure out what the problem was. We did have a "real" bank card to pay so we got to stay. Sign in the elevator said "if you jump or horseplay in the elevator you get kicked out with no refund" No water pressure in the bathroom. I counted to six to fill my hands with water to wash my face if that gives you an idea of how low the pressure was. Not one employee we passed or encountered while we were there said anything. Nothing. Looked at us, but didn't even say hello or smile. Nobody seems to like working there for sure. The room was clean so we stayed, but we will not again. My son just moved to liberty and we live in Chicago. We will be spending quite a bit a local hotels there. Please just keep looking. There are a lot of really nice hotels around there that I'm sure want guests!

Clean, spacious, and comfortable. I will definitely consider Microtel Inn in the future. My only complaint is house keeping tried to enter a few minutes before check out

Noisy, room was average clean, hair dryer never worked although I brought it up to 2 different front desk agents attention. Other guests were slamming their doors in the hallway. We asked to be moved the first night and were told to pay more for a room with one less bed. When we said that wouldn’t work out we were told they were sold out which didn’t seem like it since there were several rooms with curtains open at night. Water from the sink had no pressure. They never fixed it or replaced the hair dryer. We asked for a couple plastic forks and plates since we got back around 10 pm last night due to being at a tournament all day. We were told everything is locked so no can do. Had to drive to a nearby gas station which was full of shady people. Found a body lotion under the bed from the previous guest. No daily housekeeping and breakfast was average. I wouldn’t stay there again but if you do pick a room away from the elevators. Housekeeping staff was courteous.

My daughter and I stayed here for a volleyball tournament. While not in downtown KC, it was SO easy to get to and it felt good to get out of the bigger city for the evenings. Ashley checked us in and was very helpful and friendly. Jennifer was the morning desk staffer and kept the breakfast area stocked and was pleasant while doing so. We would stay here again.
