Rude employees dirty pool that is not finished and housekeeping put their key in the door and try to come in at 8 in the morning
It was passé. Clean bed descent size room. Bathroom outdated. Had a few dog hairs on the vanity shelf and streaks on mirrors. Room very stuffy and very slight odor before turning on the air conditioner. Woke up with a very stuffy head. Pool appeared greenish in color and pool area appeared to be more of a construction storage area. Bed frame taking up space under entrance area. Disappointed for it to be a Wyndham property.
This would be a fantastic place in any city but it was especially welcome in a tiny community right of the highway. Exceptionally clean, modern and comfy, and an especially welcoming treat from the crud we'd just experienced at two other hotels on this trip, and it was barely a noticeable difference in price from them. If you happen to be in the area looking for a room you won't be disappointed!
The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and large. They were cleaning the carpets while we were there (liked that). The mini-frig was large with a large freezer. It is quiet. Our car was loaded and we were worried until we drove around Cuba and saw an appliance store and a garden center, both closed for the night with lots of merchandise left out in the open. Clearly a pretty safe town. The dining area and lobby both have nice furniture. Breakfast included eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffle batter, cereals, toast and bagels. The gym is well equipped and the pool is indoor and nice. Given the inexpensive rate, we werent expecting as nice a place as it was. Several Convenient pkaces to eat. Wanted to eat at Shelly's based on reviews but it was closed. Went to Mo Hick's BBQ instead. They tell you as soon as you walk in what they are out of. Excellent service and good bbq.
We checked in at 6ish but didn't go directly to our room. We finally got to our room at 9:30. We were supposed to have a room with two queen beds but instead had one king size bed and a pull out couch. It had no bedding. We contacted the front desk and they brought bedding. The room had a "musty" smell to it when the air conditioner was running. Other than that everything was fine.
We had a very nice stay at the hotel. The rooms were nice and clean.
We needed a wheelchair accessible room, but it was already booked. However, good to know that a regular-size wheelchair fits into their queen-size rooms and bathroom just fine.
They have an indoor pool, but the pool area itself is being updated with new windows. The pool was rather cool but still refreshing.
Cigaretter burns everywhere pools nasty didnt change sheets went & complained they still didnt change them atp i just went to walmart towels were even stained didnt use
Overall stay was great only complaints were while checking in the older lady at the front desk was a bit rude and there never seemed to be enough towels at the pool but other than that good place to stay while I was in town visiting family

Not bad for the price. Fast & friendly service for check-in. Building is on process of remodel.
The only issue had was with breakfast. Was supposed to be 6am - 9am. When my husband & I went to eat at 730am several items were already out or close to out. We were in the breakfast area for over 30 mins & no staff came to check on the supply. Even though there were over a dozen people through there in that time. And the lady that wqs working the front desk saw the traffic in & out of the breakfast area because all had to walk past her sitting in the lobby (not behind the desk) chatting with the lady who had worked the midnight shift. I feel this is more of an individual staff member issue than an overall hotel issue.
