Hotel was poorly cared for. Hot tub was lukewarm and smelly. Ice machine was out. Orange juice machine was broken. Overall was lacking pride of ownership and was run down and worn out. It was clean enough and met the needs of getting a room for the night but don’t expect more than that.
Reasonable rates for a clean comfortable room. Always nice people at the front desk. Free breakfast is better than at other (usually more expensive) hotels. Pool area is large and clean
Once upon a time, I stayed at a hotel with some of the nicest employees you could ever meet. They were helpful, kind, and quick to fix problems. When I noticed my sheets were dirty (first a rip, then stains, then the sad realization that were simply dirty), they immediately moved me to a new room.
The new room was fine, but it confirmed that the hotel is a work in progress. They’re repainting, but skipped taping things off, so you’ll see a mix of old pudding-colored paint peeking through around the fixtures and new paint covering fixtures. I guess it depended on who painted each room. The fridges have personality too: between my two rooms and my son’s, two fridges worked; one was frozen over like an ice age relic.
Breakfast was memorable: two crockpots full of meet products. Picture a bag of bacon bits lovingly poured into a crockpot, with microwaved sausage links carefully placed in the crockpot next to them, and a waffle maker that made golden, beautiful waffles… that were raw inside.
Again, the employees were fantastic. They just need a professional to help finish renovations (or watch a few YouTube videos on how to paint, and tweak a few things with breakfast. With a little polish, and attention to details, this place could be a real gem!
Adequate overnight stay. Employee responsible for the breakfast area did not show up, so breakfast area opened more than a half hour late. Without waffle mix, etc. Quite a bit of grounds in multiple cups of coffee. Did not meet expectation.
The sink in the room was bad. There was no juice for breakfast.

The staff upon check-in was fantastic! He was super accommodating, extremely helpful and very kind. The room we were given - while conveniently located - was mediocre, and mostly surface-clean. The beds were comfy and clean, the bathroom not so much. Given the age of the location and the cost of the reservation it was worth it. The morning of check-out however, was a completely different story. The staff literally bombarded our room, more than an hour before checkout time, without knocking OR introducing himself (“Room service…” as they typically do). I happened to be just on the other side of the door, on crutches just a few weeks post-surgery having broke my tibia & femur. His entrance knocked me to the ground. The staff member looked down at me and without even so much as offering an apology or a hand up, proceeded to ask me if we planned to checkout that morning. I was dumbfounded and astounded at the audacity and ignorance of such an inconsiderate human, especially one employed in the CUSTOMER SERVICE field! We left as quickly as possible only to realize that I had failed to pick up my necklace from the floor when I fell. It was a custom made necklace and easily identifiable. I called the location to inquire as to whether or not they had found it while cleaning the room after our departure. The gentleman I spoke to was not the same one that was so helpful, but may or may not have been the careless one. He abruptly declined having found it and hung up the phone.
