We stayed for our mini-moon (short honeymoon) and we loved it! Our room was clean, cool and perfect for us! Comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, great views! The hotel is situated in the middle of the Dual St, where I can go to either the west end (for seeing sunset) or east end (for seeing sunrise) of the street with almost the same distance. The buildings of the hotel have some history and in the colonial style, which I like very much. The garden provides an excellent place for breakfast and wine tasting.

This was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. It felt like a tropical oasis but was only a block over from Duval. Wine tasting room was great and the hotel cat, Lucy, was the sweetest! Breakfast each morning was amazing! We would definitely stay here again when we come back to visit!

The Gardens was a like a hidden sanctuary in the midst of Key West. The hospitality was beyond reproach. The grounds were beautiful and well-kept. The sleeping room was clean and comfortable. We loved the pool and pool bar, the live music every evening, and the gentle breezes on our porch each evening. It will be our “go to” hotel (seemed more like a cottage untouched by time) whenever we visit Key West. Gracias for a memorable stay!

I have rarely been so positively surprised by a hotel. The outdoor areas (pool, gardens, bar) were more spacious than I expected, and impeccably maintained. It is so tranquil and peaceful, yet so close to the action. The Master Suite was super nice - large balcony, private sauna, and 2 bathrooms. Would definitely come back.
