Our suite was beautiful! We did not like being separated from the main hotel. We were across the street and around the corner. The pool area for our group of rooms was not nearly as nice. That being said, it was a quiet Oasis in the middle of Key West.

Elegant and immaculate beautifully restored vintage hotel with beautiful pool in tropical garden setting and a private, comfortable, spotless suite with lovely terrace. Dinner on the veranda at Marquesa Cafe restaurant was delicious, taking us back to a bygone era. Martinis and wine were fabulous. Hotel and restaurant staff were wonderful. Highly recommend for romantic stay.

2nd time back nothing like the first - 1. Had to walk to a second property down the street unclear when booking 2. Room smelled like smoke and reported to front desk they said there were people smoking in balcony earlier and should not be 3 WiFi poor needed to walk down to lobby to watch an event on a laptop told the front desk nobody did anything 4 same services not available at second property like ice afternoon 3 kinds on mail property only water 2nd propert 5. Had to call front desk multiple times because housekeeping did not leave towels 6. Manager chased us down apologized and said give him a chance to make it right never got back to us 7. On checkout asked for a receipt to email never got anything 8 sent a review to marquesa they sent no response For 1k per night we expected better - looks like this property in not being run like it was a couple years aro

No hot water for two showers in the late afternoon; the first day it went cold while I was in there and the next day it was getting warm so I got in, and as soon as I got in, cold again. I called and they said they would check it out. I assume they came the next day, no one communicated with me about it after that. For the exorbitant price I thought they might offer some type of compensation.

The property is located in the heart of the Key West / Duvall area. It was fine. I received an email asking if there was anything special I needed and I specifically mentioned a desire to celebrate ky wife’s birthday and asked for recommendations. Zero response. Workers on property were fine but one was consistently wearing a skeleton leather jacket which seems unprofessional and somewhat off-putting for a supposed top luxury resort. Overall not impressed, but it was fine. Not worth the high price tag for a special occasion.

Absolutely incredible place to stay in key west. The staff was amazing and made sure that our stay was perfect. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious.
