Honestly I was a little worried about this place because of some of the yelp reviews I read, but as far as my stay was concerned everything was fine. It's a perfectly decent budget motel with a great location, a pretty lounging area, and a Jacuzzi.

Cheaper hotel short drive to Ski

Hotel is not too hard to get to the slopes, a short drive down the road to the public parking. It is not in great condition, carpet is old and dirty, place is a little dilapidated.

Going skiing with your buddies and need a cheap place to stay, this works. Going with your kids... not so much. Room was smaller than the picture (okay, I can forgive that one). Leftover food and toiletries from previous occupants, exposed electrical outlets without cover plates and a microwave/convection oven that lit up but never really seemed to work I can't forgive.

Honest Review of 3 Peaks Lodge First and foremost, 3 Peaks Lodge is a budget hotel. That in itself isn’t necessarily a problem, but the hotel’s website gives the impression of a more upscale experience. In hindsight, I should have done more research and opted to stay on the mountain instead. The location is close but not really walkable to the lifts. While walking to the slopes might be possible, it would likely be too cumbersome in ski or snowboard boots. My wife and I chose to drive and gear up in the parking lot instead. Unfortunately, our stay came with several glaring issues: 1. The room was extremely dated, with torn carpeting and a popcorn ceiling. 2. Both the lobby and our room had a strong odor—a mix of cigarettes and air fresheners—not exactly the fresh mountain air you’d hope for on vacation. 3. A staff member entered our room without knocking despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. Luckily, my wife and I were just talking, but it was an awkward and unsettling experience that left us on edge for the rest of our stay. 4. The sauna appeared to be out of order, with broken controls that looked like they hadn’t been updated since the 1980s. Overall, 3 Peaks Lodge should only be considered if you’re truly on a tight budget and have no other options. Otherwise, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Would not stay here again. First room had not been serviced. Second room log bunk beds suitable for cheap college students. Second room had no blankets and only sheets. Had to go back out to front desk and complain again. Room was very worn down with no amenities. Only one key worked. Had to get new keys but again only one worked. No maid service to refresh towels or toilet paper. Nobody at front desk to help most of time and if they were they were stoned and place smelled like pot. Heater wouldn't shut off and room was either too hot or too cold. Sauna broken and hot tub area old worn

Great location. Close to main town. Room was messy, crumbs everywhere, hair too. Staff seemed uninterested. Walls super thin. A little pricey for what you get.
