Pros: The hotel is well situated in Keystone and easy to get to. CONS: ~~The BIG downside! The bathrooms! Literally 6 feet by 7 feet! You have to open the door, squeeze between it and the toilet, to get to the other side of the door to be able to close it! AND they had "squatty pottys"! You know, the kind that put your knees above your waist when you sit down! You better hope your quads are in good shape, since there's no grab bar to pull yourself up! ~~The breakfast is on the 3rd floor, but, of course the elevator was out.

There were bugs in the pool, bugs in the room, some weird powder on one of the mattresses. Tried to contact someone about the bugs, never could find a person and when I did he was visiting with his family in the lobby.

Parking was TERRIBLE! Very difficult to get in/out of parking garage without hitting another vehicle or a concrete pillar. Hotel needs major updating. Carpeting was filthy and my suggestion is to not wear white socks in the room. Outside hallways/stairways were dirty as well and that flooring looks decades old. They could have at least provided USB/outlet extensions as the electrical outlets were few and far between. The hair dryer was hard-wired into the wall and did not work. The front desk loaned me a hair dryer - also did not work. So disappointed with our stay - the biggest positives were comfortable beds and great water pressure and plenty of hot water in the shower.

Close to Rushmore - not much else

If you want a place to stay near Mt. Rushmore, this is fine, but awfully expensive for the convenience. Bizarre room configuration (a jacuzzi tub completely open to the rest of the room, and walls suggesting two rooms were joined), scary upper level parking (don't try it with a low profile vehicle), damaged window screens, insects wandering around, water damaged rooms, sparse staffing. I wouldn't stay here again.
