We left early!

The front desk was really very sweet and kind. They tried to update it a bit. Unfortunately, it's like putting lipstick on a pig. The smell of mold triggered our asthma. Breakfast was old and cold. I can't say enough good things about the front desk staff. They truly were great. The location is good. But... there were bugs. We had to leave early.

Great night stay!!

Was a great one night stay. No issues, and the employees are very polite. Definitely will be staying again in the summer with the whole family. Breakfast was hot and a fresh. Only could have used some liquid creamer, but that was my preference. Beach access and great view!!

I would do different on next stay

Needs some repairs but it was clean and comfortable. Stairs getting to our room was really rough. I have bad knees. Next time lower floor. Neighbors got a little noisy.

We have stayed here before, our room was clean, remodeled, and convenient to everything we wanted to do. Right off the ocean, so we coukd walk to the beach anytime. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had troubles with their new system, but worked right through it. We have already booked our next trip in May to stay here and ask for the same room.

Maintenance Nightmare

Check in process was fast and front desk was professional. The stairs were in rough condition, but various Amazon boxes piled on the balconies showed that upgrades/refurbishment was underway. Okay, I can deal with that. The view was beautiful, the room was clean, if a bit dated. The mattress was uncomfortably hard for us, but I can dismiss that as personal preference. What I can’t dismiss as personal preference was loud pounding on the door in the middle of our stay, demanding entrance. Apparently, the workman planned on leaving soon, and it would only take “one minute”. I stood there in my pajamas (my wife was hiding under the blankets as she was also not dressed for public display), as they hammered, slammed the door repeatedly trying to get it to latch. With the door wide open to the January weather for 40 minutes, they finally brought out the metal grinder. To say that put a damper on the rest of our stay wondering when the pounding would repeat itself as some new emergency maintenance materialized is an understatement. Regular maintenance is part of doing business. But non-emergent situations need to be deferred if customers are occupying a room. If a room isn’t ready for occupancy for any reason, then don’t rent out that room.
