We pick between 3 hotels in the area and this is one of our favorites. Very nice customer service and very clean. The parking and view were the reason we decided to book at another nearby but this is definitely a recommendation for the area. It's walkable and a nice hotel for couples or someone traveling alone and wanting a safe area walkable near your room.

We stay her every time we visit La Jolla. It’s conveniently located close to the coast and dining options. And the staff is the best! They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Love this inn!

Everything was great during my stay and I would have given 5 stars, except when the cleaning employee knocked at 8am asking if I wanted cleaning but I was already checking out that day and I was still trying to sleep in, it was very upsetting that they were that early and didn’t even check to see if I was already checking out that day. Otherwise it was a great place to stay and very close to everything in La Jolla, I walked everywhere!

The staff is extremely nice. The rooms are nice but the view was fantastic. Lots of conveniences available like water dispenser in the hall for fresh tasting water. The beds and pillows were vwry comfortable. Cool area to walk around to find meals and shop.

Comfortable stay while at UCSD hospital

My husband was in UCSD and stayed at this hotel. Miquel and Marion were wonderful making me feel as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. I highly recommend this hotel as a lower price option to some of the high priced downtown La Jolla rooms. Excellent location and service.

Phenomenal weekend at Inn By The Sea in La Jolla for our 8th anniversary! The staff are welcoming, rooms are clean, and location is superb. Could use some renovations but overall wonderful stay and the price point is very reasonable.

Amazing location on the pacific. Charming set up. Our room had a patio with an ocean view and a gas-lit small chimney fireplace. Cool bar with small bites. Staff was very friendly. Each room had a turntable and you can borrow vinyl from the bar. Great snack and drink options in the minibar. The place was very clean with a cool Spanish style decor. The bed was very comfortable. My only small feedback is the scone and muffins we had a breakfast were a bit overtoasted and hard, but the cappuccino was great!
